People who fish for compliments tend to not like me. I can be pretty blunt.
Yeah, same. I also feel awkward when I have to critique someones work... I just don't what to say without sounding like a dick half the time. It takes me a moment to phrase things properly and constructively instead of just 'that sucks.'

Usually the top tier sort of people. The sort of person that everyone likes and has a lot friends and is generic. The real question with the people that hate you however, Do they hate you because their a dick? Or do they hate you because you're a dick. Most of us are completely comfortable with who we are that we don't bother to see the type of person we really are.
I learnt that lesson young. I always got along well with everyone in primary school, but I ended up in the 'popular group.' Anyway, I changed schools for a while, had a really tough/abusive time at home and put on weight, became depressed ect. When I got back to my original school my old 'popular' friends didn't want to know me. They spat in my face and bullied me, because I wasn't entertaining or good looking anymore. Since then I've made sure to treat the 'losers' well. Because they don't deserve to be treated badly or bullied. There's no reason to do that.
