« on: September 03, 2014, 07:51:38 AM »
I was walking up a street near my house just now and it hit me: the smell of a billion crushed ants. Like some massive boot had stepped on two or three whole nests. It was horrific.

What the hell makes a smell like that? I've never encountered it before.

The Loot, Part 2

Everyone gave the silver band a curious inspection.
"That's nice. Now what are we doing in this cave?" Put in a smarmy voice. Elegiac glanced over at a well-groomed fellow in an expensive dinner suit. He suppressed a foxish smile.
"Well? We're not above a little mystery, Elegiac," The suited gentleman gestured at those assembled, "Even those who don't like you are here." Kiyo spat again. "But it was no mean feat to carry the loli's and two days food down here, as you requested." He put a stress on the last three words, biting them off gently like an evening's tally.
"Yeah. My house is much nicer than this," added Cheat.
Elegiac took a moment to force down his personal glee and then answered the man in the suit.
"I thought it was a cool, conspiratorial setting. Gatsby- comrades- don't you like it?" He managed to finish before quickly scuttling offside and out of the way of several annoyed kicks and thrown objects. The spider puffed itself up and rasped, "You see? YOU SEE? He's nothing but a whimsical. Fucking. FOOL!"
Two of the tied-up loli's had managed to work their feet over to each others crotch. Their moans became slightly louder than the rest and a boy dressed as a dark haired girl took a moment to shift them apart. "If they're cattle, then they're the first cattle I've met that actually want to be eaten," She smirked.
"Noelle! I was watching that you goddamn faggoty prick," burst out a smallish Sangheili.
"Shut up, Class, you freak," countered a boy in weed pattern khaki's. A girl in a chinese costume clipped them both behind the ear and shushed their protests; she sighted Elegiac lurking behind the ragged bulk of Nuka.
"Let's hear it all then; the ring, the cave... whatever. Let's have it."
The fox sidled forth again and gained the lamplight. He took up a proud posture, "I don't know what the ring is for. " Once more the fox dodged aside from a well-aimed, weed-patterned boot.
"Enough, Commando." Sneered a deep voice. A large Sangheili shifted from the wall and made his muscled bulk obvious.
"Fucking Vien... " muttered an indeterminate voice. The sangheili grinned and pulled briefly at his crotch, "I don't mind a little madness," he finished. The fox resumed.
"If we're done bickering... ?"
A classy looking guy in a beard and a dodgy looking guy in a beanie both nodded. The boy in the fox onesie whispered, "It's your fault that we argue... ", and then accidentally let out a slow whiny fart as the cavern dissolved into laughter. Elegiac waited, and then spoke through the mirth.
"Why would I know what it's for? I only know that it's important. Marty gave us music that became a part of our lives, but did we know him? Did we understand what was behind the music?
No, we didn't. And this is our chance! He didn't deliberately cast the ring aside, he dropped it as he fled Bungie HQ, and Luke found it."
A boy in a skintight black bodysuit and helmet nodded, and said in a tinny, distorted voice, "That's true. But I didn't think much of it at the time. When we reached Cheat's estate I threw it on a table and forgot about it. Elegiac picked it up again."
The room has settled, they're not stupid, just excitable.
Elegiac continued, "And as you must have noticed, something's missing." Cheat held the ring a little higher.
"That is where some type of gem would have been, and listen closely because I'm going to move quickly now: traces of the gem were left after it's displacement; a rare gem, known as Destinite. I did some research, and this cave system", Elegiac nodded at the stone space, "is it's only known source. It isn't even mined since it's considered too dangerous. These are the caves of Destiny. You complain, but you're lucky that this location was only a couple of hours march from our new haunt. From here we can unravel the mystery of this ring, starting from step one." He paused. "And one more thing, True Turquoise is not amongst that rabble on the floor. True is back at Cheat's mansion. He'll be raising the alarm if we're not back in three days- if we haven't found a way out- because it is impossible to leave this cavern by the same way that you enter."
This time the room dissolved into pure chaos.

To be continued.

I just busted a couple of ring-stretching monster shits, and when I looked down to check the damage they'd sneakily slid out of view up the u-bend! I feel like I was blindfolded and anally assaulted in an alley. I feel violated.

Kiyo kept trying to pull off my fox ears and tail. It was like a white person scrubbing a black child until they bleed, to try getting the black off. I cried but she was like a drunken irish fury, so I bit her and ran away.

I'm scared, what if this is only the beginning?
