Rarely ever. Took me forever before I first talked to even friends in party chat.

You're overthinking it man.
Perhaps. But this isn't the first community to move to an offsite that I've been a part of, and I have seen more than one of them fail because of this exact issue. I've grown pretty fond of this place and would hate to see it fall apart over something like this.

In response to your thread from yesterday, it seems that the only limitations placed on genital tattoos is that it is often prohibited for minors of people under a certain age. Other than that, it is entirely up to the tattoo artist's own discretion to decide whether or not he or she is willing to give you a tattoo down there.

Mod forums are a pretty common practice. I don't see the problem.
We're not your typical mod forum though. We are not a company or organization where mods are an "external" power. We were all part of the same thing, all equal and with just as many (or little) rights as everyone else. Changing that up by giving a handful of people powers and dealing with business behind closed doors can be pretty detrimental to a small community like ours. It creates a divide.between people.

People are writing this off as assholes just looking for an excuse to continue being assholes, but there's genuine complaints to be made here. We used to all be the same, just regular members of Bnet looking for a place that wouldn't get screwed over by Bungie. There was a time where we were all equal, knew just as much as the next guy and had the same voice in affairs as anyone. Now, that balance is gone. But it is not necessarily that which is the problem. Moderation is a necessary evil. There need to be a few mature people that can be trusted to keep an eye on things. But all this secrecy? Hell no.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: transparency is key. Not this "sorry, this is top secret mod and drama bsns that goes way over your head, better be quiet" bullshit that has been going on lately.

GMT = UTC. Currently the UK is in British summer time (our version of daylight savings time) until sometime in November.
I know. It's the same thing over here.

I know :l

And I would like to, but I would have to check it with Cheat beforehand. And since he is indisposed at the moment I have to remain shush <.<
I might send you a PM about it tomorrow, if you'd be interested in hearing more. The general idea being that having a bunch of people who used to all be "equal" move someplace, giving only a handful of them additional powers and influence based on popularity alone, and then coming up with rules in private without involving the vast majority of members, dealing with drama in secret and having a whole bunch of things going on behind the scenes, does not usually end well.

Moderation is a necessary evil. Secrecy and a one way street of how policy is made and affairs are handled is not. I realize that I am not exactly myself very popular by bringing this up, but I've seen several good communities go to shit because of people forgeting where they came from. I'm not saying that's the point Sep7agon is at, but it sure feels like we're heading there. I've already grown pretty fond of this place and would hate to see it go over a falling out between mods and members, especially since we're all just fucking Bnetters in the first place.

I can't really say a lot more though, I'm sure you understand the position of information disclosure.
To be honest, this has always been one of my main gripes with forums like this. It's something I've seen kill more than one community not unlike ours.

Surprised you made it to level 28 before letting go. I realized there wasn't much more than grinding over the horizon at level 21. Sold my copy of Destiny shortly afterwards.

then claims of moderator bias over how some of these threads were handled.
Isn't the claims of moderator bias what started this all? Flaming and insults going entirely unchecked against most while doing the same to Noelle or Vien would be reprimanded? At least, that's what was claimed.

I feel like that would probably create a lot of trust issues, along with being pretty much impossible to implement because the forum staff is already well established.

Septagon is an uncommon name for Heptagon, which is a geometrical shape. I doubt very much they could sue us for using that.
Trust me, they can't. They would also never sue first. It's not being used for commercial purposes in the first place, and a cease and desist order is virtually always the first step of action.

More people die from bicycles accidents than gun shootings, this has been proven. Our right to own guns is why the Japanese and many other countries don't want to attack us on our homeland. I quote what the Japanese emperor said in WW2 " you can not invade the homeland of the United States for there is a rifle behind every blade of grass" and he is right.

If you don't that guns are our right; you can get the -blam!- out of this country. If you're not In This country than you have no right to even speak about what is our right.
People like this actually exist. Let that sink in for a moment.

There should be a way for people to address issues with mods though. There's not much sense in being able to report a mod when they'll just see it themselves.
Simply PM Cheat about it. Everyone fails to remember the fabled PM system is there.
Fair enough.

Link me dick rules when you have a free minute?
We'll see. I wouldn't be surprised if there weren't any rules and that it's just up to the discretion of the tattoo stores. I might look into it later, now that you've piqued my interest.
If you do a really in-depth research I'll reward you handsomely.
That sure is tempting.
