What graphics card are you using? I'm assuming it's an integrated one, which isn't going to be good.
You can always try Can You Run It. It's not terribly exact and I've been able to run games fine that it suggested I couldn't, but it's worth looking into.
My guess? Relatively old games on low settings. Source Games, Quake, Age of Empires games, some Total War games and such. You'll also definitely be able to run an emulator and play most games pre Xbox 360 / PS3 era.
Think I could run KOTOR?
I think so, yeah.

Code words.
"How are enjoying the botched lobotomy?" -"The only botched lobotomy here is yourself."
Followed by a friendly slap on the buttocks, of course.

I'm not so much questioning the data, but I think you can do better with some of these sources Meta.
I'm in the middle of revising my position in light of Flee's data.
If you're interested in reading more, I can definitely suggest this site. It usually goes very in depth and provides detailed and sound rebuttals debunking a lot of the most common pro-gun arguments, such as the "more guns = less crime" one.

Flee, criminals are going to obtain guns whether they are illegal or not. Why shouldn't I (a citizen who pays his taxes and never been in serious trouble with the law) not be allowed to own one to protect myself, my family, and my belongings? Because not all people can be trusted. In an ideal world, where we didn't have stupid, incompetent and irresponsible people lacking self control, I'd be all in favor of you being able to own a gun. But as I pointed out to Forge before, I feel that giving everybody virtually unlimited access to guns is going to end up being more likely to cause me and my family harm (because of other morons having their own guns) than it is going to be for me to defend them. It's a pretty simple argument. I definitely see where you're coming from, but I do believe that I'm better off knowing that not every moron in my country can just walk into a store and get his hands on a gun.

I see that after having not a single rebuttal to make to my post in the other thread, you've just moved here. Fair enough. I've never heard of such a thing, I'm really itching to see that information! : D That's good to hear, I'm glad you're actually interested in the truth rather than biased and factually incorrect propaganda, for once. Above you'll find the official statistics of murders in Chicago. If you look closely, you'll see that those numbers skyrocketed by the 1960's due to the increasing industrialisation of cities. This happened in most major US cities, but Chicago's long history of violence and organized crime fed this into a problem of gangs and serious crime, hence it's nickname as the crime capital of the US. Now, if you look at the graph, you'll see that there's two major declines in homicide rates to be found. One of those is in the mid 1980's. Is this a random event, I see you wondering? Nope, because this coincides directly with Chicago's City Council passing an ordinance to limit the access to hand guns, reducing the homicide rate to the lowest it had been in 25 years. Now, an even larger decline took place in the 1990's. Want to make a guess what happened then too? Exactly, even more gun control, this time both on a local and federal level. Further on the topic of Chicago, have you ever taken a second to think what the city is like? Because, in case you haven't noticed, it isn't an island. It's a single city. And what do you think happens when you implement strict gun control just in a small and confined area like that? It is hindered by the fact that people can literally drive 15 minutes South and legally get their hands on a gun then. Here you can read how virtually all of Chicago's guns used in crimes were simply imported from neighboring states, meaning that unless you start applying these restrictions on firearms on a larger scale, their effectiveness is going to be severely hindered by how easy it is to (partially legally) circumvent them. Especially since this, from 2013 is the complete opposite: http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2013/feb/4/chicago-murder-rate-far-worse-strict-gun-control/
And this: http://abc7chicago.com/archive/8977635/ Please read this. It'll explain to you why Chicago still has that issue. Also, that source is dealing in absolute numbers rather than actual rates, comparing Chicago from 80 years to its current counterpart. Kinda hard dealing in absolute numbers that don't take into account that the Chicago metropolitan area now houses almost half of the people in the entire state. We are First in the world for gun ownership.. yet we are not in the top 100 nations in murder rate.
Not only is that pretty irrelevant to what we're discussing here in the first place, but beating the first hundred third world countries isn't exactly an achievement. Especially considering that the US still has the worst murder rate of pretty much any developed (Western) country, having a homicide rate about 4-5 times higher than, for example, Belgium, the UK, France, The Netherlands and Germany isn't something to boast about. There's already enough cultural, social, economic and historical differences between a Western European nation and the US to make decent comparisons difficult. Trying to make a point by comparing the US to Nigeria or Honduras and then proudly proclaiming that there's no issues with extremely loose gun regulations just because your murder rates aren't as bad as a couple dozen third world "hellholes" is about as low as you can get.

It seems contradictory, but I sorta agree with it. Sorta.
As Psy mentioned, I'd hardly feel safer knowing everyone can have a handgun considering not everyone is going to be as sane or competent with one as I'd like them to be. It would be great if there was adequate screening to have such things as well as training, but that's not exactly guaranteed.
Bashy weapons, fine. Blasty weapons, not so much.
This x10. It is one of the main arguments that I have against such an unrestricted access to guns, and it is one that is strongly supported by a first world Western country with loose gun control such as the US. The statistics don't lie. The vast majority of all gun homicides aren't commited by your typical gangbanger or diehard criminal. It is the common man, the (up until that point) "law abiding gun owning American", as so often praised, that is responsible for most of the gun deaths and injuries. There are some people that I would trust with a gun, but there are way too many stupid, irresponsible and incompetent people out there for me to trust them with a firearm.

Give it to the police, I don't have a permit for it.
In what sick country do you live in where you need a permit for a handgun?
The UK
And a lot of the US, for that matter.
Just to own? What?
Yeah, there's certain US states, such as Illinois I believe, that require permits not just to carry but also to purchase and own.
Link? I know of the permits to carry, but none of which that are required to own? Could you give me a link?
Here you go.At first glance, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts and all of the US territories require an owner's license, while several others demand a permit in order to purchase one.

I like the symmetry. It's simple, has a transparent background and has just grown on me after using it for years on B.net. bnet/10
That's disappointing. No real opinion?

Perhaps we all should use MLP images as avatars, after the script is created.
But we can do that already
But with Coup, we can have them as a post background too.
Let's not go there...
Isn't it beautiful?

All this talk about members is making me miss Boomdeyadah
I miss capiton and DTL as well.
You on b.net elitists? So many missing faces over there but it's glacial slow.
I really wish that these members would come here:
A Metroid
MFW he's here
He must not have the same name on here because I don't recognize him
He mainly sticks to gaming.

From what I remember Rose used proxies/VPNs for each alt that was banned here, if Rose had a main I think it was probably just *Rose* or Crimson or whichever name came first <.<
Are there many other members that use those?
There are quite a few accounts that use them here, yeah.
that's...worrying.
We don't approve new accounts that are clearly using tor or a proxy, and those that we suspect of not being "clean" are monitored more carefully. We'll be fine.
