Gonna lobby the EU to protect free speech and strike down laws that forbid it yet?
In due time, yes. First gotta ban routine infant circumcision though.

So my graduation ceremony was today (turns out I graduated with honors / cum laude, so that's good) and the prime minister did the commencement speech. People were interviewed, TV stations were present and I just saw myself on the news. Quite the eventful day, so ama me anything or talk about whatever is going on in your life.

Serious / Re: Hypothetically, if humans were carnivorous...
« on: July 05, 2015, 06:09:56 AM »
We are more intelligent than lions and can question whether what we do is wrong or not, for one.
And assuming we were a purely carnivorous race we should just remove ourselves from existence based on that alone? That doesn't even begin to make sense.
I think the argument is that we have reached a stage in our existence where even if we were carnivorous, we could still survive without killing other animals. Science has come a long way, and it is probably entirely possible for a carnivore to survive on supplements and substitutes for actual meat.

That's the DJ pony Vinyl Scratch. I have better taste than that.
Need pic of you in panties to confirm.
I'm afraid I don't have any panties. I also have a bit too much muscle and hair on my legs to look like that picture.

Serious / Re: Why are you proud to be an American?
« on: July 04, 2015, 11:06:57 AM »
So I don't really see the problem.
There isn't a problem, really. We just have a different idea of the notion of pride. I understand why you feel the way you do, but I just disagree.

Serious / Re: Why are you proud to be an American?

There's a lot of faggotry surrounding the idea that "You shouldn't be proud of being born in random circumstances". Fuck you.
Gotta disagree with you there. I applaud being proud of something that you have accomplished or somehow contributed to, but being proud of the fact that you just so happened to be born in some part of the world? That's just pointless, in my opinion.
The point is that nobody is proud of being born in a specific set of borders in the first place. When people say "I'm proud to be an American", they don't mean they start welling up because of the line separating them from Mexico.

Pride in one's country comes from your own ability to contribute to its development, and that country's pre-existing capacity to produce a civil society in the first place. People are proud of being born into America, Britain, Canada, Sweden--whatever--precisely because their countrymen have figured out a relatively decent way of moulding relatively decent people. I'm proud to be British because my country has a comparatively solid record at maintaining a decent social ethos.
That really doesn't challenge anything about my initial point. You are still proud of randomly being part of something that others have achieved. Being proud of the contributions that you make to it is something completely different than being proud of simply being born there. The term gratefulness seems much more appropriate, imo. I'm proud of what I have accomplished so far and of what I will hopefully contribute to this country. I'm grateful I was born in Belgium and I like it here. But being proud of simply being Belgian? Not at all.

I also don't fault anyone for feeling proud of it. I just think that pride concerns personal achievements or contributions made to other accomplishments, not merely race / gender / nationality.

I like to think that Loaf's threads about how he's not gay despite liking increasingly gay things is  perhaps the most elaborate trolling on this site.

I think our official company name is Sep7agon.net which I know he has copyright on, but I'm not sure if he has a copyright on just Sep7agon.

I can give a detailed explanation of how this works if need be, but:

The artist's name is a trademark, not a copyright.

Cheat automatically has copyright to this place when he meets the requirements, which he very likely does. The "all rights reserved" is completely obsolete.

Just my first name.
is it flee?
Nah, it's Thomas. Although I'm sure the game will pronounce it in the English way rather than the Dutch, which would be kind of a bummer. So I might just go with Flee anyways.
