What's your opinion on Mass Effect since it's got a lot of cutscenes and you're stuck in a dialogue wheel a lot. The Witcher 3 does that too.
Shoddy gameplay drags both of them down. As much of a meme as it is, playing Witcher feels like a chore after Dark Souls. Same goes for ME. Bit too boring for me.
uh, he was only asking me.
typical belgian.
Wow, fucking rude. Don't talk to me or my gatortag ever again.

Bit of an update. I'm probably not going to keep updating this thread with posts every time I stream. I'll do so occasionally when something interesting happens, but there doesn't appear to be anyone really interested in watching on here (aside from a few people from the Discord). For those who do want to come have a look, you can just follow me at www.twitch.tv/flee4me and you'll be notified when I go live (which is usually at around this time: 3pm Eastern Time).
On that note, I'm still live now.
3pm, you're killing me
That's when I usually start but I tend to hang around until like 6-7pm. Different on the weekends. No worries though. This wasn't a woe is me post. Time difference is a pain and I can fully understand why people just wouldn't want to watch. I've just been making update posts every time I start streaming and haven't had anyone respond or join the chat because of it, so I figured it's kind of pointless to continue that. Those who are interested know where to find me, those who aren't will be spared me constantly bumping this thread.
I'll set my laptop up next to the TV so I can watch you stream while playing siege. Shit is gonna be lit.
Thanks fam, that'd be cool.
Online now, in case you'd be playing Siege.
Be on in a little my man
Great. Gonna be around for another half hour probably.

I liked the first one but not enough for the follow-up to be a must buy. The whole thing about the microtransactions and other negative comments is solidifying that. Probably going to wait until it's cheap.

Don't worry Banjo, things will continue as usual. Just not going to make an announcement in this thread anymore every time I start streaming.

They're all pretty bad because Disney only makes them to retain the rights to the properties.
How so? Not that big of an expert of US IP law, but copyright doesn't typically require any use to retain the property and you don't need a massive movie to keep a trademark from expiring or becoming generic.

Just got around playing it. Game's alright, but I don't think I'll buy it. Plays a lot like Battlefield in space so it shares many of my complaints I have with those games too. Slow and campy gameplay, lots of pushing and nading through chokepoints, imbalance through vehicles/heroes, lots to learn but ultimately pretty low skillcap... I'll probably play and stream the beta a bit, but that's about it. Seems like one of those games that can be really fun if everything is going your way, but so tedious otherwise. Game looks beautiful though. Soundtrack is stellar as well. Also, aim assist on consoles appears to be insane. Just caught part of a PS4 stream and this is is some of the most tenacious aim control I've seen in any game. It snaps from so far away and tracks perfectly. I don't know how casual they want to make the game, but that seems like something they'd change in the final version.

So a GOP introduced bill to ban stocks on guns could be introduced as early as today. I'm shocked anything might actually be happening, especially on the GOP side.
Of course it's not really going to change anything, but anything is better than simply nothing.
What do you mean ban stocks? Bump stocks or outright ban all stocks?
Bump stocks. http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-41506613

If you don't call storming polling places violently forcing a stop to independence, I'm not sure what you would.
I would call that trying to stop an illegal vote with disproportionate force exerted by some police officers. To me, that's still a long way removed from sending in the military to "bring the hammer down" and stamp out the "rebels" looking for independence. And I'm still not convinced that the rest of your comment is substantiated. I disagree that violence is the way out or final conclusion. I think that firearms would only make this situation much, much worse and escalate it to a full blown civil war. One shot it all it takes. In our global society of international scrutiny, Spain can't and won't just massacre these people for dissenting. It would not only cause an international crisis for the country, but it would destroy it entirely. There is no possible outcome I see in which guns would improve anything. The Catalans using them would legitimize the government fighting back (as they're now dealing with armed insurgents terrorizing the government rather than innocent and peaceful civilians just wanting more autonomy), and the federal government using them would cause an international outrage and repercussion (removal from the EU, condemnation from the UN, diplomatic outcast, economic sanctions, perhaps even military intervention to save civilians or peacekeeping missions...). It's a lose-lose.

Expect it to become political the way these things always are.
I never understood this argument. There's a point in maintaining some common decency by giving those involved or directly affected by these things time to mourn and respect their feelings, but why should this not get political? Bad stuff is bad. It happens, but we don't want it to happen again. So we try and learn from it and take steps to prevent a repeat in the future. If a plane crashes, we find out why and change aviation rules if necessary. If a bridge collapses, we investigate how and change construction guidelines. If a healthcare system fails thousands and kills many of them, we determine the cause and alter policy. This is no different. It gets political because it by all means should. And maybe the conclusion ends up being that it was a freak incident that could in no way have been prevented so that no rules should be changed. But that discussion should still be had. Policies are shaped by and based on events. This is just how it is.

Verb. It's not too late to redeem yourself. You can still catch a Dratini at Dragon's Den. 40% chance of a Dratini / Dragonair when fishing with a super rod.
That's true, though the Super Rod is only available in Kanto. But that's around the corner at this point anyway.
I'm super excited about Kanto, since my memories of it are limited.

There's a few things I'm unconvinced by. One, that we're going to see such a response from Spain. Two, that guns would be anything but a detriment in this situation. Three, that the US federal government would go to war with a secceding state and its civilians. Four, that guns would help.
The Spanish government has already responded violently, and so has the American government.
This age is no more civilized than the last.
You owe your fealty first to your neighbour, never forget that.
The Spanish police reacted overly violent against a vote its constitutional court deemed illegal. With the eyes of the world on them and (albeit limited) condemnations of the violence by the EU and UN, I'm not seeing a substantiation that they'll really "bring down the hammer" or violently force a stop to the Catalan search for independence. And the rest doesn't really address my other comments. I'm not unsympathetic to the idea of an armed population resisting a tyrant, but I'm not convinced that it's a good argument in this case.
