To put things in perspective, after I bought an xbox juan, and all the neccessary accessories to go with it along with the MCC, and a new TV since the Juan has the lovely new modern ports that only work on newer TVs, I'd be looking at somewhere between 3000 dollars. The Juan and accessories and MCC would be about 800-900 bucks in total, and a new TV would eat a big fucking chunk of money.
It's funny actually. I bought a 25 foot long motor home in basically brand fucking new working condition with a little bit of hiccups to work on, for 1200 bucks.
A fucking xbox and a tv are worth more than a 25 foot long mobile house box that you could make a life for yourself in.
Why would it be so expensive though? Xbox One at 399$, MCC at 60$, TV at 300-400$.
Canada. Xbox Juan at 499$ Taxes make that something like 560$. 60 dollar game? Lol give me a break. That shit's 70 by default and then 85 something after the taxes. A semi decent, quality TV that's not a piece of shit? Over a 1000 dollars. And all the other little bits and bobs add up too.
Strange. I live in Belgium, a country infamous for its high taxes, and all of that wouldn't be that expensive to me. I got my TV for the equivalent of a few hundred dollars.
By default, Canada always pays more or double what the states do.
No opportunity to buy things online and have them sent across the border? Or do customs fee come into play then?

Reviews are all great. It seems to be an amazing phone in every way at a very affordable price.
I'll be doing a review on here myself once I get my hands on the thing.
Then i might get my hands on one if it is available in Canada. Been looking at alot of phones and the Nexus and Apple phones are being propped up as well as Samsung, this might be something i like. Simple different, plus issues like non-removable batter and no external storage can be dealt with as i usually use Spotify for my music and battery i do not care about. Personally i like the simplicity of the phone.
It can be simple if you want it to be, but it's got probably the most customizable OS out there. If you want one, you're gonna have to put in some effor though.

I feel like the appropriate title for that chapter would be "what class you gon pleh?".

It's a great phone and a good price, but the way OnePlus handled the invite system and other PR stunts for their phone made me not want to deal with them. If it wasn't a game of chance to get a phone directly from them, I would get one.
What other PR stunts are you talking about?
I don't like the invite system either, but I have to admit that it could prove to be some great marketing strategies.
They did a Smash Your Old Phone contest, Instagram contest, and a "ladies only" picture contest. The first and last being the most controversial, and pretty off-putting to a consumer like me.
I didn't know of any of those, the only marketing stunt I know of was their latest one on their Facebook, which just had you like them and retweet a message or whatever to be entered in the competition for an invite or phone.
