More detail to the story pls.
Shithead joins my party to talk to my girlfriend (she fell asleep long before) and I wanted to kick him and got kicked offline a minute later.
Hmm, I didn't even know people could actually do that just over XBL.

True, or he can purchase something that is compatible with OS X and turn the laptop into a hackintosh to have the most benefit out of it... But it sounds like OP definitely needs Windows on it.

OP doesn't make it sound like he needs something really powerful. You can get a decent enough laptop just to take notes on, use MS Office and browse the internet for a fraction of the price a Macbook will cost you. I would strongly advise against getting one in OP's case.
That's a possibility too. Just doesn't sound like OP needs much, so I don't see him wanting to spend more money on this than necessary.

IT'S HARD BALANCING LEARNING A NEW LANGUAGE AND THREE AP COURSES.
Just three? Napalm come on man, you're never going to please the Führer with such low standards.

Funny the way you word it. It's not like I have that much money myself to spend on a machine such as a computer, but if it's a tool for my work and studies then I'd rather invest money into something powerful, and of a decent quality. Macs just work out of the box, and don't have any sorts of crapware to deal with.

Some people have budgets.

So is this when the tentacles come out?

More like everyone there get electrocuted somehow.. I wonder
Wat
The girl getting fanned has the ability to control electricity and is a human railgun.
Has there been an anime on every possible scenario ever?
Has every possible storyline been covered in fiction throughout history?
I would think not. But the imagination behind anime is pretty... impressive.
Spoiler
Tell that to the 100 billion light year tall robot avatar of the universe standing on our galaxy.

So does he have tentacles?
No, but the god he's fighting has something similar.
Pics?
Lemme grab a link...
Alright.
Gifs don't do this stuff justice.

Spoiler
Watch from 5:32 onwards, you'll see the tentacle things eventually.

Take a look at this too. The bad guy has literally become the ultimate being, not even magma can harm him. His invincibility is used to beat him.

I'm in the middle of a pretty busy class atm. Safe to open?
Yes.
They're videos though.

So you just need something cheap that you can take to college with you? Doesn't need to run any demanding software or games?

The Flood / Re: Post movies that you should watch
« on: October 22, 2014, 10:00:04 AM »
Cloverfield
Bladerunner
Apollo 18
How I Stopped Worrying and Learned to Love the Bomb (B&W, but Peter Sellers tho)
Moon
The Big Lebowski
Watchmen

I'd expect everyone to have at least seen one of the last two. If not, DROP WHAT YOU ARE DOING NOW AND WATCH THAT SHIT.
How is Apollo 18 on that list?
I personally thought it was a decent film. Makes itself seem a bit too serious until the rock-spider thingies, but still a good film nevertheless.
Not saying it's a bad movie, just the odd one out in your list.
