Good guy Gamestop indeed. Nice to see them being this considerate towards their employees in this time.

Thanks guys, I appreciate all the support. Anyone interested in a potential AMA on my part? Never done one before, but I figure this might be a good time.
you look pretty good with dem colors
Thanks Nuka, I quite like them myself. :)
I'll admit that part of the reason that I'm perfectly okay with not being on staff is because it would wreck my color coordination. lol
Also I wouldn't have my special Plate Master title anymore.
True. I'm sure you could come up with a new color scheme to accomodate the moderator dark orange though.
I could, but I like my green >.>
Green best color. Other than black, of course.

No, it's not all terrible. But real fresh oven baked shit is where it's at.
Fully agreed. Had some of that real good stuff when I went to Italy a few weeks ago. Delicious.
Italy? Oh man I can only imagine.
Second time I've been there, and the pizza was great both times. Went to visit my brother who's studying abroad in Torino for the semester.

I'm going to change it up pretty soon, but this is basically what it looked like a few weeks ago. Hasn't changed at all. I'm using Rocketdock in such a way that when the mouse pointer hits the right side of the screen (even when using a program like Chrome), it brings up that menu with all my go-to software.

What else is American still rate #1 for besides this?
Fat people?
Pretty sure Mexico has you beat there. Just barely though.
Mexico's obesity problem is mostly the US's fault though. 20-30 years ago before the introduction of fast food chains, obese people were almost nonexistent in Mexico. There's a lot of poor people though, and when cheap and tasty food was introduced...yeah.
True dat. Can't really blame them when fast food is some of the only decent and affordable food around.

._. I may hate MLP, but I'd never suggest a rule that limited what harmless material people could talk about. That's slippery slope territory that could easily lead to shit I like being banned as well because some person with a stick up their ass decided they didn't want [ x ] subject to be discussed cause personal tastes.
I wasn't being entirely serious there, but I fully agree.

That pizza looks like from frozen shit that will be really disappointing.
Is all frozen pizza terrible in the US? We've got some pretty great ones over here.

Is there anything I missed that puts this video into any sort of context? Either way, brilliant video.

A fitting death for a heinous crime. You could always propose an amendment to the rules to ban all pony content.

Also, grats Flee.

Do people no longer just play Pokemon games like back in the day? Just catching pokemon and going along with it? Now all I hear is things about shinies, pokebank and EV training.

Well the shiny hunting can be quite a lot of fun, and it adds an extra level of catching them all when you already have caught them all.

Pokebank is just wonderful though, since they never[/u] give you enough damn boxes in the game having the ability to store all of your pokemon from other generations together rather than spread throughout various cartridges is quite enjoyable <.<

As for the EV training, that's a competitive battling thing. I learned how to do it, and I tried it out on a greninja and it does make a notable difference to the power of the pokemon. However I don't do that normally because I don't do battling so it would be a wasted effort >.>

The IV stuff is quite fun though, at least for me because it's an extra element to the breeding side of pokemon <.< Which is what I enjoy the most, breeding and raising pokemon so having a bit of pseudo-DNA to work with is something that appeals to me >.>

It's all completely optional stuff though, it just adds an extra depth to the games for those who want to play around with it.
Oh I know, not condemning it either. Just a lot different than the pokemon I remember, that's all.

Oh boy, time for a pony thread?
Let this be as far as that thought goes mkay?
Tell me, Rocketman my friend, who exactly is your favorite pony?
I cannot show favoritism towards a subject I am ignorant of.
What a coincidence, Fluttershy is my favorite too!
Rainbow Dash is obvi best pony.
Spoiler

Serious / Re: Angry Mexicansprotest over 43 missing students
« on: November 21, 2014, 05:16:03 PM »
This is more about widspread governmental corruption than the cartels though. The direct events leading up to these protests are the disappearance and death of 40 something college students, with the corrupt police force being directly to blame. The following governmental refusal to actually look into it (and the minister of justice saying something along the lines of "I'm tired of all these questions" when confronted by the parents of the murdered students asking for answers) and more and more reports of corruption on an incredible scale are what's making these people rise up and demand the resignation of their president.
isnt this corruption just a result of the government being in bed with the cartels though?
You could easily argue that it's the other way around. Mexico has a long history of corruption that allowed the cartels to become what they are now. You're right though, taking action against the cartels would help. It's just not a fix-all solution, as Mexico's problems run a lot deeper than just that.
