If you want those answers, you should make the thread. You can't expect everyone here to put serious thought into every idea that gets mentioned somewhere on the third page of some random thread in the Flood. Make an actual thread about it supporting your point with arguments, and people will take it seriously and respond. My answer, if you'd care, is that I don't want a single board to just turn into a complete and utter cesspit. Instead of having "quality" board (Serious) where good discussion takes place, I'd much prefer having a more healthy balance between randomness and topics with actually a lot of discussion value to them in Flood, and then keep Serious for a few specific subjects. Seems to make more sense to me than to basically give up all hope in the Flood and let it become nothing but shitposting while any sort of worthwhile discussion gets moved to Serious. But that's just my opinion. If you want more input, make a thread about it in Septagon.

Alright, time to put an end to this arguing that has nothing to do with the topic at hand. Knock it off guys, this isn't going anywhere. Well, I'm sorry, but this couldn't get any more obnoxious. I propose simple, easy solutions beyond my "ban fucking everybody" philosophy, and they all get rejected for no reason.
That isn't true though. They're being rejected because people believe that other methods would be the better choice and that they'd prefer a forum with shitposting that's actually alive over a dead one that's entirely clean. Then there's also some practical concerns that you seem to dismiss just as easily, like the very real concern that a drastic drop in members would result in a decrease of ad income which would downright kill the site. Meanwhile, I have a bunch of children that try to pick apart my posts just to irritate me--and that pisses me off.
It takes two to argue. I'm not condoning anyone's behavior here, I'm simply ending a pointless argument that started as a decent discussion but turned into a mess.
