I find it hilarious how, I go lurk the Flood today since the site was down, and I see SO MANY people being butt hurt over us posting here now. Like our absence from the forums affect them in such a way that they have to complain about it.

Real talk. I don't know if it's just since the last update, or the beta, or the last few months, but I just don't have the same connection with the place anymore.
It's definitely because of Destiny, the influx of younger users is probably the cause. I usually recognize most of the users that make threads but now I don't know any of them. Sucks because I enjoy debating and shiz but now there's just no point.

It's all the fecking desticles that have swarmed it, they are making the same mistakes that everyone made when they were new to the internet. On the one hand it's easy to blame them for being stupid newfomans but then you do have to remember that most people are like that when they first go on a forum. Look at the youtube comments, the reason it's such a shithole is because it's mostly people who don't spend a lot of time on forums or the internet outside of Facebook and Twitter.
To put it simply, Newfomans gonna newfoman. It's best to just take the piss out of them and try to find someone who isn't a complete retard to talk to.

Another (slightly different) thing I've noticed about them and the rest of the forums there in general is their blind loyalty to the Bungie forums.
Some of them are straight-up offended anyone would dare go to a different forum. I think someone even told me that I should basically weather the storm and keep posting there, even though it's not fun to do so, the forum is laggy, and the brightness is way too harsh.
It kind of reminded me of how people acted with Halo 3 and the Recon armor. Maybe it has to do with that "Mentor" rank or something?
We should make more threads about the offsite. For the lulz

It seems like all of them have no understanding of compassion, logic or common sense.
It has probably been like this all the time and I'm only noticing now because I'm taking part in political threads more often but it's annoying me and giving me a headache. They bother themselves with things that effect in no way, shape, or form for example homosexuality. If someone is gay how hard is it to accept that and leave it?? It doesn't me nor does it effect you. Also regarding the whole Palestine and Israel situation but lets not get into that.
