The F-35 has quite a few problems now but once they correct them (which they will too much money has been spent) it'll be unmatched compared the Russian and Chinese jets. IIRC the biggest problem with it is software, they want to build the on board computers so that the plane can react faster than a human brain
It's a single engine electronics warfare aircraft with the weight of a twin and the expected goal of replacing air superiority fighters. F-35 a shit
