if you hunt for sport, you need something bigger than a pistol to kill a bigger animal efficiently. I, for example have a 30-O6 for dealing with the bears and coyotes around my area that mess with my house... I also enjoy venison once in a while and go hunting with a couple buddies.

depending on your experience you could earn like up to 300k. But i want to do it more so for the travelling. Money isn't that important to me.
