Jesus Christ. This isn't the 1950's. With the amount of liberal media and blood thirsty lawyers these days, if you get fired for being an Atheist, you can sue to be a millionaire. Stop it.
It's true, though. And the employer will cover their ass and fire your for some other reason.
How do you know it wasn't really that reason? Thats like getting fired for being a terrible worker and saying "Its because I'm black isn't it". Only now you can say, "OH Its only cause I'm an atheist".

Point is it's fact. A scientific theory is not like a regular theory. Gravity is also considered a theory. Coming in here and saying it's bogus is just dumb. And I'm saying that to SecondClass.
I know it wasn't you. I'm just saying we really shouldn't be dismissing people just because this is serious. I mean Einstein’s Static Universe scientific theory was proven wrong. Same could happen for evolution, not likely, but could.

If you can't handle someone elses opinion, you are intolerant.
Hey man, if you want to deny facts that's your problem. There's nothing intolerant when we're dealing with facts and not opinions.
Again, you're more than welcome to be ignorant, but don't expect us to respect or admire your ignorance, and don't percieve us telling you you're wrong as intolerance when we aren't dealing with opinions or beliefs.

If we're going to kill one of them anyway, it really doesn't matter which one it is, does it? There would be no risk for your body if you chose to kill the one in your arms."
The woman was horrified and said: "No doctor! How terrible! It's a crime to kill a child!"
"I agree", the doctor replied. "But you seemed to be ok with it, so I thought maybe that might be the best solution."

This thread is specifically about Plantinga's argument - not the existence of God.
Why does it matter why I (or anyone else) believe in God? I could say, God showed himself to me through a piece of cheese and it wouldn't matter. People can believe for whatever reason they like.
