"Whenever we read the obscene stories, the voluptuous debaucheries, the cruel and tortuous executions, the unrelenting vindictiveness with which more than half the Bible is filled, it would be more consistant that we call it the word of a demon than the word of God. It is a history of wickedness that has served to corrupt and brutalize mankind; and, for my part, I sincerely detest it, as I detest everything that is cruel."
"Of all the systems of religion that ever were invented, there is no more derogatory to the Almighty, more unedifiying to man, more repugnant to reason, and more contradictory to itself than this thing called Christianity. Too absurd for belief, too impossible to convince, and too inconsistent for practice, t renders the heart torpid or produces only atheists or fanatics. As an engine of power, it serves the purpose of despotism, and as ameans of wealth, the avarice of priests, but so far as respects the good of man in general it leads to nothing here or hereafter" "...arms...discourage and keep the invader and plunderer in awe, and preserve order in the world as well as property. ...Horrid mischief would ensue were (the law-abiding) deprived the use of them." "The harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph" "The World is my country, all mankind are my brethren, and to do good is my religion." "Government, even in its best state, is but a necessary evil; in its worst state, an intolerable one." "He that would make his own liberty secure, must guard even his enemy from oppression; for if he violates this duty, he establishes a precedent that will reach to himself." Based Thomas Paine 7572

Serious / Re: The "compensating" accusation« on: August 14, 2014, 08:31:58 PM »No, they see tiny shriveled penises plagued by erectile disfunction. That's the whole point behind the "compensating" accusation, you see. That most gun owners are insecure men in dire need of big firearms to flaunt around so that they can still feel manly despite their obscenely small and unsatisfactory genitals. So it's essentially a meaningless stereotype 7574

I do what I can to help Wolf-PAC and the like. But the Koch brothers aren't the only ones who use money to control our politicians. The 2nd amendment may be taken away just like the 4th has if we don't defend it. 7576

Serious / Re: Missouri Dems pushing for gun confiscation« on: August 14, 2014, 05:44:21 PM »LOL>implying I'm stupid enough to vote republican or democrat I know neither side gives a fuck about anything but money. You'd have to be retarded not to see that. But see, I don't sign my rights away. I participate in civil protests whenever I can. I phone politicians and send emails and sign petitions for the cause of liberty. I'm not old enough to vote, but I'm still probably the most politically active user here. That said, I will never allow myself to become disarmed and vulnerable. Just because the sheep majority is willing to sign their souls away for the party of Jesus or for bigger welfare checks, does not make me willing to be dragged down with them. And it's not the only reason. It is THE reason. That is why our founding fathers wrote it in. Our government is built with checks and balances, and this is the final one. An armed populace ready to dismantle the government if it has to be done. 7578

>YOU DONT NEED 30 ROUND CLIPAZINES TO HUNT.
The common law right to keep and bear arms (which is where the right comes from, the common law; bill of rights is a codification of common law rights, not a creation of new ones) is and always had been for tyranny fighting and self defense (even before America, let alone Heller). Hunting is immaterial and has nothing to do with the right. If guns were only for hunting, then the government could happily take away whatever they wanted, because no, you don't need a gun to hunt. But that's not the case. There's no right to hunt, there's a right to keep and bear arms for fighting tyranny and self defense. 7582
Serious / The "compensating" accusation« on: August 14, 2014, 01:04:28 PM »
When a gun owner sees a gun, he thinks it might be fun to take to the range, or maybe that he'd put a foregrip on an optic on it if he owned one. When gun grabbers see a gun, they see giant, veiny cocks and piles of dead toddlers. You tell me who's the crazy one.
