If I cared enough, then yes I could. I've scarred multiple friends after prank texting them to actually making them think they're involved in the middle of a gang conflict
pic related; it's you

I just might have to file a restraining order if he keeps it up
you know saying retarded shit like this really doesn't help you look better

Surely you shouldn't start rebuilding until the rampaging lunatics are all dead? .-.
sadly you will never see the imams wiped out. You have to work around them.

There is no rational reason to have a problem with this.

Education does not stop rape. Everyone knows it is wrong. You can only stop rape through self-defense training and early detection stuff, like this.

This is actually a really amazing thing and I feel really bad knowing this probably will not become popular, just because of the cost increase and need for companies that make nail polish to actually adopt it.

Serious / Let's have a little chat about the police state, shall we?
« on: August 27, 2014, 11:03:51 PM »
Given some recent discussions and the events in Falujahson, MO, I've decided to share a little story with you guys.

A couple of weeks ago, I went on an 8 day trip with my scout troop all around New England, looking at the beautiful Maine wilderness, and historic sites in cities like Baltimore, Boston, Philly, and NYC.

In almost all of these places, we went through your typical post-9/11 police state security checkpoints. Being scouts, we almost always carried pocketknives in our backpacks. Now, myself and the scout masters always did our best to remind the younger scouts to leave their knives on the vans, but unfortunately a few knives were lost to metal detectors.

The typical process was this: Our bags go through those x-ray camera things. If everything checked out, we got it back. If something suspicious was spotted, they searched the bag. Someone's bag was searched at every checkpoint we went through. One of them, in philly, had security search through all of our bags manually.

Well, on the last night, as we were chilling out in our hotel rooms, one of the scouts, little Nicky, loudly gasped "What the shiiiiiiiiiiiit!"

When I went over to investigate, I saw him standing over his open backpack with a kitchen knife. Apparently, this had been in his bag since summer camp a month before. This knife, with a six inch blade, traveled through a total of nine security checkpoints and three thorough physical searches completely undetected.

Turns out, the blade was made of aluminum, to lighten the weight (this knife was designed for backpacking), and the handle and sheath were made of a thick, hard, black plastic that made the detectors' rays bounce off. Not only did it make it through that, the ten-inch knife made it past the guards who physically searched Nick's bag.

This is how your tax dollars are spent. Security that not only slows things down and intimidates people, but also fails to protect them. Guards wearing body armor who cannot, even when searching by hand, stop even an oblivious child from getting a large knife into places like the Federal Reserve and the Washington Monument. Security tries to wave it's cock around in the face of potential terrorists with big men wearing body armor, but this cock is ultimately flaccid and useless.

Giving these people so much power and funding does not protect you. They'll wear the body armor and carry the guns, yeah, but when it comes to the weapon searches that have the potential to stop massacres? They half-ass every single step. Because they only care about protecting themselves. When it comes to looking out for you and yours? It's just a meaningless day on the job to them.

Gaming / How To Make TEs 6 Not Suck Cock
« on: August 27, 2014, 10:24:14 PM »
Scrap the engine and make a fucking new one.

They have to come to grips at this point that Gamebryo is too fucking outdated and they would get a hell lot more out of other engines.

Hire some actual modelers who don't suck. I don't care if they hold a contest or what, but one of the most immersion breaking things for me is the fact that everyone is not only just ugly, they are completely unrealistically ugly. With that, animations need a HUGE improvement as well; Serana in Dawnguard DLC was a good step in the right direction, but they still need major work to fix robotic movements and facial expressions.

Scrap the gamebryo (or creation or whatever the fuck they want to call it now) and removing shit for the sake of "balance". Bethseda absolutely sucks at balance, so why fucking bother? If I want to make a pair of fucking shoes that let me run like the fucking flash and shoot exploding chickens everywhere, then let me. As for melee, YOU FUCKING HAVE THE GUYS WHO MADE DARK MESSIAH; FUCKING LET THEM DO WHAT THEY DO. Dial back the fucking kick and you would have the PERFECT fighting system.

Be fucking more creative with dungeons, traps and puzzles. Also actually make traps deadly.

Add some variety to the enemies. In Skyrim it always felt like you were either fighting Draugrs or bandits, with the occasional band of necromancers spread very thin throughout. 9/10 dungeons were fucking draugr. Even the College of Winterhold questline, which should have been about learning magical skills and shit, turned out to be a series of dungeon romps. The fucking Bards' College? The place where you go to learn speechcraft and music and shit? Even they fucking send you into a Draugr-hole to kill shit.

I have more things to say but I'm sleepy. Will expand on them later.

I don't see why you can't just blacklist certain conflict areas for travel, and only allow professional journalists to go.

Yeah this is what happens when you post late at night after a long day <.<
I basically had my foot in my mouth all night lol.

Of course morality and ethics aren't solely derived from abrahamic religions, but the morals and ethics they teach are widely spread throughout the western populations. It''s hamstrung and hindered science for a long time with the phrase 'playing god'. I'm not exactly anti-religion, but I am of the mind to keep it the fuck out of science labs.

Cloning was the example that half came to mind last night, the west has basically pussied out on it while China is (figuratively) screaming balls to the wall and cloning everything short of people. I expect they'll clone them soon enough as well. So whilst their lack of/different set of ethics (Mostly from Confucian thinking iirc) allows them to launch themselves forwards in areas like science, they are lacking the whole socialist humanitarian approach. Life is cheaper than food in China ._.

Hopefully that's better <.<
much!

What kind of disgusting violation of personal ownership is that?
It's pretty heinous in my eyes. I just want to see if anyone here can excuse it. I expect everyone to be strongly against, but I'm sure someone is edgy enough to at least try to come up with a scenario.

Yet.

At the ridiculous rate science is booming now, it won't be long before things like that start to happen. Especially when you factor in China, a country with no major abrahamic religious ties to hinder/stall ethically questionable experiments or to pursue the origin of life.

Hell, we've already started growing human brains in petri dishes. Whether or not that actually proves the existence/lack of god remains to be seen but I doubt it will make much difference one way or another. A lot of dogma might be called into question but I doubt that being able to create life in a science lab would emphatically prove the existence/lack thereof of a higher power.
I would really like it if you reworded that.

The way it sounds now implies that morality stems from religion, especially abrahamic religion, and that without it one can have no ethics. You and I know that's not true, but there ARE people on this forum who honestly believe that, and the last thing we need to do is make them feel like we agree with them.
