I take it as a good thing he isnt like his dad. Ron Paul had some insane ideas. Like defunding epa along with half of the rest of govt agencies.
Rand has been a bit more sane, and has been leaning more moderate than any other conservative I'm seeing so far.
This is one of the reasons I favor Rand. He's the most sane viable candidate the Republicans have had in a while. I just hope loons like Cruz don't force him to radicalize to win the nomination, or that edge he has will go away.

The US cannot so strongly associate with a head of state who uses scare tactics and abandons his own principles for selfish political gain.
