You've got the west in this sick balancing act. The United States spends shitloads arming itself to defend half a planet of allies in order to further its economic and geopolitical interests. These countries become ever more reliant on the US for defense, at the cost of their own sovereignty.

There are other ways we could do this. NATO could actually be what it claims to be on the surface- a network of allies committed to mutual defense.

Is that better than the way things are now? I really don't know.

As in many (but not all things), moderation is important here.

Interracial reproduction is great for the species as a whole. A diverse gene pool is a strong gene pool. You have to preserve that diversity, though, and be careful to keep minority ethnic groups from being lost in the sea of genes.

The way things work in the US and Canada isn't too bad. Ethnic groups largely stick to themselves, but there is still plenty of crossing.

Of course, in places like this, new groups pop up, too. Mestizos are a unique and valuable group of their own.

Still, I wouldn't want to see too much of it for smaller groups like Native Americans, who face the very real prospect of disappearing.

This isn't really a specifically Nazi thing, though, and the association of any kind of ethnic nationalism and dislike of interracism with Nazism scares me a bit.

I really don't like viewing human groups collectively, it leads to nasty shit like ethnic conflict and socialism, but I also don't think we should devalue the cultures that help shape us as unique individuals.
