You worship nature, then. Even though there's nothing inherently good about "the natural order" whatsoever, and it promotes misery and suffering. I don't. I don't place any moral weight on natural laws. I just recognize the importance of knowing the practical rules of the world we inhabit, at least as well as we can understand them. As long as there's life, there's morality, and the biggest moral code is to prevent suffering, physical and emotional. Delusions of morality. Right and wrong are man-made concepts, not naturally-occurring ones. Abstractions with no practical importance. Inequality is one of the largest sources of emotional suffering in the world. So is unintentional virginity but nobody pretends that matters. Just because equality is hard to reach doesn't mean we shouldn't try. Men and woman, black and white, everyone is human. Man, fish, rat, snail, we're all organisms. Basing moral systems on taxonomy is retarded. Why is human the category that matters? Why not Kingdom Animalia? Or Mammalia? Or Primates in general? Why not classify humans by subgroups? Saying "We're all humans" carries no more weight than saying "we're all vertebrates".

If a man is allowed to attempt to serve in combat, a woman HAS to be allowed to attempt to serve in combat, as well. If she's not allowed to even try, that's the fucking definition of inequality. So fucking what? You worship an abstraction. There is no practical reason to care about inequality, especially when the definitions for it vary wildly. Inequality is a part of the natural order. This is fact. No two animals are identical. Our genes vary from ethnic group to ethnic group, gender to gender, and person to person. This obsession some people have is inane. "Oh no we can't have this law! It would be unequal!" Equality does not and will never exist. It's a ghost in your head, a delusion thousands of people strive for even as nature itself works day in and day out to keep such a thing from existing.

IMO it's not the internet that made it worse, it's targeted content. When I google job applications, I start getting spam emails about applying to a job through some scam service thing. If I read a couple of articles with a political lean, I'll start seeing more articles with that lean come up in my search, and I'll read those, pulling yet more of the same into my path. I can barely even entertain myself with YouTube anymore because it just offers me the same shit over and over. You're probably not going to find your opposition's viewpoint until you actually make a conscious decision to look for it. The powers that be (and there are powers that be on the web) don't want people to explore. Or maybe they just don't believe people want to explore.

Our own perceptions are so limited that we can never be certain of anything. This applies to everything, from our understanding of physics and natural laws, to political opinions and thoughts.
Furthermore, even if we *could* find an objective and clear fact, knowledge we somehow couldn't corrupt as it entered our brains, we'd still be no closer to finding the right course of action. Hume's is/ought gap makes that pretty clear.

All non-theistic moral systems are based on arbitrary values that have no inherent worth. They always boil down to some bullshit like "pain is bad", shit that is ultimately a matter of opinion and personal interpretation. That isn't to say morality is subjective, because that's kind of retarded. The validity of moral systems is subjective in practice, but the truth is inherent morality doesn't exist, it is a fixed idea some guy came up with and sold to the rest of the world.

It didn’t seem like they did.

Nothing. These people were stonewalling me. It almost seemed like they didn’t care that a fortune in computer money invented to buy drugs was missing.
I figured I could wait them out. I lit several cigarettes indoors. A pregnant lady coughed, and I told her that secondhand smoke is a myth. Just then, a man in glasses made a break for it.
“Subway™ Eat Fresh and Freeze, Scumbag!®” I yelled.
Too late. He was already out the front door. I went after him.
“Stop right there!” I yelled as I ran. He was faster than me because I always try to avoid stepping on public sidewalks. Our country needs a private-sidewalk voucher system, but, thanks to the incestuous interplay between our corrupt federal government and the public-sidewalk lobby, it will never happen.
I was losing him. “Listen, I’ll pay you to stop!” I yelled. “What would you consider an appropriate price point for stopping? I’ll offer you a thirteenth of an ounce of gold and a gently worn ‘Bob Barr ‘08’ extra-large long-sleeved men’s T-shirt!”
He turned. In his hand was a revolver that the Constitution said he had every right to own. He fired at me and missed. I pulled my own gun, put a quarter in it, and fired back. The bullet lodged in a U.S.P.S. mailbox less than a foot from his head. I shot the mailbox again, on purpose.
“All right, all right!” the man yelled, throwing down his weapon. “I give up, cop! I confess: I took the bitcoins.”
“Why’d you do it?” I asked, as I slapped a pair of Oikos™ Greek Yogurt Presents Handcuffs® on the guy.
“Because I was afraid.”
“Afraid?”
“Afraid of an economic future free from the pernicious meddling of central bankers,” he said. “I’m a central banker.”
I wanted to coldcock the guy. Years ago, a central banker killed my partner. Instead, I shook my head.
“Let this be a message to all your central-banker friends out on the street,” I said. “No matter how many bitcoins you steal, you’ll never take away the dream of an open society based on the principles of personal and economic freedom.”
He nodded, because he knew I was right. Then he swiped his credit card to pay me for arresting him.
