Yep. Only part of the game I really just absolutely hated. Well, the beginning was horrible too, but a lot of beginnings for big RPG's are. The Fade was something that stopped me from starting new games.
I kinda liked the puzzle aspects of it, and the boss to escape it was cool, but yeah, there were definitely some infuriating moments in it. When you starts fighting all those other mages in that burning place... fuck that fight.

But really OP, you want a first gen Chevy S10 or GMC Sonoma with the 4.3 liter L35 engine. That thing can be worked to an easy 250+hp without breaking the bank, you can hit 300 with some money thrown in to forced induction.
