It's a scenario for a reason. Stalin was pretty stupid for trusting the Nazi's somewhat. (((Trotsky))) didn't trust them at all and probably WOULDN'T have been in an alliance. That's all they're saying. He was the more charismatic and powerful of the two for a while. Either way, the alternate sounds worse tbh.
Stalin Didn't trust Adolf though, and that's why there was a build up of the army, Russia's military manufacturing, long range bomber projects, and an oddly high number of BT 'convertible' tanks, which in thirty minutes a crew could turn from a tracked vehicle to a roadfaring, wheel driven one... for sophisticated road networks... that Russia entirely lacked but Central Europe was full of. hmm... The winter war still would have happened, it might have ended quicker though, but Trotsky would still have a large portion of his army up north and not be ready to fight the well prepared German army who had just conquered Poland. Additionally, he seems to imply that Trotsky would attack the Nazis before the 1940 invasion of France. This would be a complete disaster for Trotsky's army, as Adolf's western fronts would never come to be and the rest of the world would also not be helping the soviets (especially America via lend lease. Dodge and Studebaker trucks were the backbone of soviet logistics in the war) So really, without Stalin, the Nazis win. Game over. You can't beat Cossack Stormtroopers.

Man that's heaps low mileage for the age. Do those engines have any quirks to them?
My Corolla was from '88 and the old owners didn't drive it anywhere near as hard as it was designed to be, so for the first 3 months of owning it I was actually losing a lot of power past half-throttle until I got the hypothetical cobwebs blown out of the Carburetor. Before last week flooring it granted a top speed of 50 km/h and even at the 'optimal' throttle position it battled up hills/in headwinds. Something to do with a secondary intake being underused but I can't find anything about it on the engine's wiki page.

I miss Pontiac so much.
The GNX and the TTA were cool as fuck, but I don't really miss the brand. They were god awful in the years leading up to their demise... Although funnily enough the year they went out, the 6.0 and all the cars it was offered in were almost flawless by 2000's standards.

I'm not exactly sure what all they did to it or what that would involve because of that. Probably something with the TPI system or cam profile. Cool thing is that the motor has such a huge aftermarket that it doesn't take much money to make a few gains. and the why is simple. You can't undercut your golden child. If you stick the exact same engine in a car that sells far cheaper, you're going to loose vette sales. Companies do this all the time, GM still visibly does it with the new C7 and current gen Camaro models.
