Nope. It does not matter what Disney or George Fuckedus say, they cannot simply destroy thirty years of established canon. The EU is canon, The Clone Wars is not canon, it is as simple as that.
The Clone Wars and the EU are canon.
And TCW was pretty damn good in later seasons.
I can't forgive TCW for making the Republic Commando series non-canon and cancelling Imperial Commando 2.

I can't speak for America, but I believe over here that murder is split into categories in which pre-meditation is and isn't a factor.
Like, a man stabbing another in the head with a screwdriver because he cut him off in traffic is murder. But so is luring a man to your house, tying him down and cutting his throat.
The latter is the one which is pre-meditated, however.
First degree murder involves premeditation, second degree does not. Voluntary manslaughter is second degree but the offender was rendered emotionally or mentally unstable at the time of the offense.

I'll agree with he last part, you should make sure you won't be driving before you start drinking, but I can't say that there's explicitly malicious intent when one makes the careless decision to do drive drunk.
