May be able to get an LT1 off a buddy to swap in to my Impala. The 35 year old 305 that's in it is going soon and mains leak fairly well... that extra hundred-some horse sounds good too.
How much is it stock?
The LT? I believe factory rating for the model he has (if I got the year right) is 275 with accessories. My anemic 5.0 from 1978 was factory rated for 170 horse.
Not a bad upgrade at all. What's it cost though
That's what we have to work out. I'll probably be able to get it for a couple hundred... if I decide it's worth the work to drop it in. Fortunately someone already rebuilt the motor and replaced the EFI with a Holley four barrel, so that's gonna make it hell of a lot easier on me.
Lucky break, is he a good friend that is willing to give you a good deal or is he kinda adamant on it?
Eh, he's an alright guy. I don't think we'll have to argue much.

I've got some stilton with dried apricots in it back home. Wonderful stuff to snack on. I've also go some Roquefort for cooking.
Not a huge fan of fruit in hard cheese, at all, really.
What do you use the Roquefort for? Sounds delish.
tomato sauce and omelets.
I like fruity firm cheeses, and crumbly ones like wensleydale. That's awesome with cranberries in it.
I want to try a straight wensleydale but I haven't found one yet.
Tomato sauce?
Spaghetti sauce. It flavors it pretty well.
It's hard for me to imagine what that sauce would taste like.
Earthy, I guess. Compliments mushrooms well. Too much and it overpowers any other seasonings though.

Welcome to English, we have no neutral third person singular pronoun except for the highly discouraged "singular they".

Haha good, I have no sympathy for anyone who buys a car that fucking expensive. Cool, you have a bunch of money while other people who are likely bigger contributions to society, or at least would be, are starving and struggling to even get an education.
Luxury and supercar sales are actually pretty good for the economy and for the automaker's lower brands.

Hypothetical question, should someone be able to print in a news paper mocking dead soldiers in a cartoon?
yes, but it would be a PR suicide and probably cost them subscriptions.
