You should see the rejection emails I am getting.
Oh, let's see em then!
Here they are: http://m.imgur.com/sXYklM2
Seems like full force Tumblr SJW'ing at work here...

But uh, I still don't fully understand who the IGDA are, what the hell do they do, and why this  is important.

They should've contacted Blur Studios.
But then the raptors would run backwards...

Damn it Byrne.

I work that afternoon. I'm not really retail and I can't imagine many people flying here that day, so it'll just be another day on the job for me.

I have to serve these foul beasts, hopefully they all go through McDonald's (sorry Gasai) instead of eating at Olive Garden.
I'll be thinking of you when I'm sitting on my ass doing nothing because everyone's out shopping and those who are flying home after thanksgiving are most likely doing so commercially.

All electronics fail, and only mechanical energy can be transferred in any machines... so only stuff like old cars without built in computers would function, and since computers manage the power grid, no power either. it'd be one hell of an apocalypse, and no one would see it coming.
But... spark plugs need electrical sources.
they may need a power source, but as I said, stuff like batteries and combustion engines would still work, just not extremely complex electronics like a PC, and modern day power plants would be rendered useless.
Oh
Yay, my car and bike still work, but the gas stattion won't! Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

when it comes to leaving something for history to remember, they have nothing on Sony or Microsoft.
are you serious? are you ACTUALLY serious? Nintendo is a god damn icon, and their characters are known worldwide and BEYOND the gaming industry. Mario is a household name, and Pokemon is known by all, in what world is generic space soldier #19937 and Laura Croft clone #48 more memorable than a nintendo icon?
Ah yes, Mario and Pokemon.. Two franchises that have been milked into an oblivion. They make Call of Duty: Advance Warfare look like the new boys in town again. All those titles you mention are junk man. They've been used and abused and practically forgotten.

I know.. the truth hurts, makes you even want to cry inside. But Nintendo is lacking more originality in their games. Have they created any new iconic characters in the past four years? Or are they still waiving their Kirby dicks and using characters that are 10+ years old in new games?
You can't make icons with the snap of a finger. Do bands become iconic the day after they release their first album?

Besides, Nintendo has 10x the icons Microsoft or Sony will ever have. MS has Master Chief and the closest thing Sony has to iconic is Sackboy.
Ratchet and clank make better icons then sackboy, well imo
Have there been any Ratchet releases slated for the PS4 yet?

I was gonna say Crash and Spyro were pretty big PS icons, but then I remembered that this isn't 2000 and later Spyro games were multi-console.
Ratchet has a movie on it's way.
Oh yeah.... I totally forgot about that even after the hype I had when they announced that. Thanks

The Shermans are all real, and IIRC the Tiger in the film is the last working Tiger 1 in the world. There hasn't been a real Tiger 1 in a film since 1946.
Yup, they got Bovington to lend them Tiger 131 for the filming.
That would explain why they shot in England.

You seen it?
Not yet. It should still be in theaters around Christmas time, right? I wanna wait 'till my brother's home from Benning for the holidays and go see it with him.
Maybe.

Came out in like october, didn't it?
Mid-late October, yeah.

The wonderful thing about not being an officer or flight crew is that I don't have to deal with those damn things.

The Flood / Re: How do you tell the time using shadows?
« on: November 23, 2014, 12:18:17 PM »
Step one: Check for insurgents. Nothing fucks up your timekeeping like motherfucking insurgents.
Step two: Using your optical tracking device, locate the position of the sun relative to the horizon.
Step three: Use the sun and your analogue wrist watch to locate the direction of true north. You now know if the sun is eastward or westward.
Step four: Take a note of how far east or west of true north the sun is in minutes via your compass.
Step five: Cross reference local sun tables and lunar drift charts to accurately place the time of day in accordance with the sun's location.

Note: Do not attempt this method at night or within the arctic circle.

Also, Shia LaBeouf's performance stole the show. He was absolutely brilliant. Never thought I'd enjoy his acting, but he totally blew me away here.
...

Shit thebed is in Fury?

Suddenly my inclination of wanting to watch the film has died. Please tell me he isn't the usual shrieking stammering ottist that he plays in everything ever.
Brah, are you imlying that Shia LeBeef didn't outperform Harrison Ford in the fourth Indy?
I'm implying that I'd rather pull my teeth out with pliers than see that retard in another film.
5/5 bretty good
