What say you on typical fantasy?
It's... not exactly my forte but I'm open to it <.< I just tend to prefer sci-fi and killing stuff >.>
Killing stuff... not focused entirely on politics... umm...
Oh!
If you are looking to spread out, this series is one of my personal favorites.
The first characters introduced are two unnamed women in mortal peril, one who is pregnant and one who has just given birth. The pregnant one is trying desperately to reach shelter during a snowstorm. She is an outcast of her people, the Avar because she has decided to carry her child, conceived during a festival and considered an abomination, to term. A group of demonic creatures, skraelings, watch as her unborn child brutally eats his way out of her womb, killing her. The monsters are delighted and decide to adopt the hateful child. Sold to the gentleman with the eye twitch and the shakes!
You are quite the squeamish one at times, aren't you?

I just wish the game kept closer to the book..
Ehh, I'm happy with the way they did the game. The kind of story that Glukhovsky told, while fantastic, wouldn't make for a very entertaining FPS game.

The S'pher still invade Earth in 2654 but for different reason; they long ago declared themselves as justice bringers and dedicated to removing injustice from the universe. Humans were largely oppressive towards other species and are seen as offenders to this reasoning and must be eliminated. Meh... seems like something a moralfag would write.
No, I just want reasoning better than all teh revenge and 'I'm too lazy to explain so let's just say its mysterious and ooh mystery!'
Plus I need something that isn't going to require a rewrite of 100+ documents.
Okay, it just put off that kinda... (thought I hate the term) really edgy sort of "humanity is inherently evil" line of thinking at first.
Nah. It makes more sense with context, which is my bad. Essentially, humans had bad experiences in first contact and most still harbour xenophobic opinions. When they gained power over everything due to a mixture of political blackmail and military buildup, they were quick to install pro-human policies. So kinda like if Cerberus gained full control I guess.
Uppon further consideration, I like this concept.

You read Metro 2034 and 2035?
Have they been translated from Russian yet? Last I heard 34 hadn't and 35 wasn't released yet.
34 is. The incredibly mixed reviews on it have me constantly putting off importing it from Bongland, since, once again, I don't think a US publisher has taken it up.

I also add Star Wars republic Commando Seconded. Just be prepared for the disappointment in knowing that we'll never see the series concluded because of the Clone Wars tv series.

>AR starts >bad
You're right, OP. You are dumb.
AR starts slayer on Bloodline is shit.
You are a fuckn casual if you think that is a good match.
ARs weren't even in Halo 2. They at least could have provided a Magnum secondary because that is headshot capable and provides an incentive to dual wield. I would understand AR starts if this was like king of the hill on Bloodline, but not regular 100 kills to win slayer.
Adapt.

How so?
I can't really imagine it doing much other than filtering out those who are a) easily offended by differing views b) tumblr-folk looking for fights or c) any combination of the two.

They are called International game developers association. they are like a hub organization for devs.
Okay, and the blacklist pertains to what exactly? You're not allowed to receive publicity from them or something?
It puts you on an auto block for people who use the tool they endorsed to auto block people who follow users in GamerGate, or if they think you are involved in harassment.
In other words, you're probably better off being on the list, aren't you?
