For me, this has been something that I've had a great deal of trouble with since becoming an atheist.Non-existence after death to me nullifies the point of doing anything. At least when I was still religious, I could coerce myself to adhering to set behaviors due to the benefit of a heaven. Agreed. It's kind of an easy way to ensure structure or some sort of unified and accepted morality. It's not needed though. And yeah, in the incredibly grand scheme of things, there's no point in me waking up for work tomorrow, however, in the event that is my life, and in regards to how actions mean things on the small scale (be it to yourself or another) it does have meaning. A great deal of the time, I'll hear other atheists say that since this is the one shot you get, you need to make it worthwhile; that because there is no objective worth in life, you have to find your own subjective meaning. I just can't see it from that perspective. The way I see it, because in the grand scheme of things, you have so little impact that anything you do is nothing more than a waste. And so your objective is not to change the world. Now stop worrying about leaving a name in the History books and enjoy yourself (within the limitations of the law, preferably. Don't go killing people for fun.) Yes, I do realize I am having an existential crisis, but it's been one that has been ongoing for over 3 years now. So, for those others who believe that the only thing we have to look forward to after death is worms eating our corpse, are you stuck within a similar mindset or do you believe in making your own meaning? I for one welcome the chance to finally give back to the planet in the form of nutrients and organic compounds. There's no end more fitting for having enjoyed a life on this earth.

Oh come on, I'd at least need one dakimakura and a pair of the purchaser's sister's panties in addition to what he's asking.
*sigh*
In a rare moment of emotion, I miss my old .38 now.

Sapphire was a private group that only accepted the most popular, most intelligent members of the Flood. All the butthurt losers who weren't accepted are here on Septagon.
That can't be true... after all, I was in it once.

I came in here because I know a fair bit about guns, but then you started talking about something completely different than what I know about.
Pretty much this...
Is he RPing or something?
He is creating a sci-fi universe for a story he is writing.
Huh.
To the OP: 8x69mm for an SMG is not very believable.
Additionally, both the AR and Sniper are using what is essentially a .50cal slug (the only difference between the two you mentioned are the cartridge length) which is pretty fucking ridiculous.
If they're decked out in some big kick ass armor, then it's believable. It is a Sci-Fi universe. And in WH40k Space Marines use 19.05mm projectiles for their standard rifles.
Yeah, but nothing in 40k is supposed to be practical or even remotely believable.

Just for reference, the first number in the NATO nomenclature refers to the bore diameter and the second number refers to the over all cartridge length in millimeters.
For example the 5.56x45mm used by most modern service rifles the bore diameter is 5.56mm and the overall length of the cartridge is 45mm.
For an idea of the size.
Nitpicking here, but it's the case length, not the full cartridge.

>AR's firing 50AE
Jesus, that must destroy your shoulder.
What kind of hand gun shoots a 69 mm cartridge?
Oh yeah... OP, why is your pistol ammo longer than your rifle purposed rounds?

I'm perfectly happy to give him a second chance, his apology does seem sincere and should it turn out that it wasn't then the worst that will happen is he can get banned again.
Now just use your psychological techno-babble to convince Soporific Shitlord.

His excuse to permaban Verb was worse than Sage's in Coup. I don't see the problem with permabanning Verbatim...
But you're ignoring the most important part, Slash is a shitlord.
