It's got an 8.5 on MAL and Oss thinks it's boring.

Nah. See, the reflected rays of light from the moon aren't strong enough to turn him having just hit the moon. They need to travel the distance between the moon and Earth to pick up magical space energy to transform the werewolf on earth.

Granted I've only got one of that value... several are closer to the 500 area... Like I said in another thread, the purchasing power of the affluent is pretty much not understandable to the middle class. 31027
The Flood / Re: Starting the weekend off right« on: December 05, 2014, 02:28:11 PM »Cars in general?Agreed. They just seem like a "hobby" to throw money at when you have nothing else to spend it on.They just don't do anything for me when I look at them.So many lambos and not a one I'd personally own. I don't recall the last time I was sick... barring that respiratory infection in Basic. Good ol' government issued dirt didn't like my lungs for whatever reason.
Anyway, I'd image that I'd try to sleep a lot. They say you fight off infection better in your sleep. 31031

Serious / Re: How would you answer this moral problem?« on: December 05, 2014, 01:44:41 PM »
Fairly certain I had a dream about this once...
Anyway, I'd probably want to help the kid, but realize that in doing so I'd set the entire city against me and most likely end up dead. I'd rather not be skun alive. This leaves the option of either accepting the child's life as a fact and the reason for my happiness and moving on, or being repulsed by it to the point where I can no longer stand to live in the city. The later option is really no better, because nothing changes for the child. He's still living the same way he was before I'd have left. May as well just utilize the fruits of his suffering. It would be rude not to. 31036

Serious / Re: The Militarization of Police Nationwide (US)« on: December 05, 2014, 12:27:05 PM »
Yes, as it shifts the perception of the police force and what their job is.
No, they already think that. Hell fucking no. At most, we should give special units MRAPs, but AFV's are out of the fucking question. The limit is not a clear cut line, but exists when police begin to look less like a protectorate group ensuring the safety of citizens and look more like an occupying force rooting out insurgency. 31039
