No the rational choice is to not want to be associated with shit like this http://sep7agon.net/the-flood/meme-thread-69992/3420/
The site’s history is ugly, and it continues to be an ugly and disgusting place.
i dunno man this is a pretty cultured piece that will be studied by art scholars in universities over the world and it's all part of that's thread's lineage of ifunny reposts why wouldn't you want to be a part of that?

Yeah I'd wait till things get a little less corona lockdowny before making a switch like that, but if you can maintain financial stability long enough to get yourself going in the new market then I'd say go for it dude when the time comes.

Today is like, your entire life up until now, tonight is the short-term future, and tomorrow is the long-term future like 20-30 years later
what is today but yesterday's tomorrow?

I recall there was a study done stating that nothing would really happen if Mosquitoes disappeared from the world completely.
this negatively affect many bird populations tho okay but real world happenings in Virgina disproved this

Then what separates a terrorist from a revolutionary?
Popular or media support for their cause. See discussions surrounding the actions of Hamas, the IRA, or the YPG against their oppressors.

The use of violence to bring about systemic or political change is literally the definition of terrorism. Destruction or defacement or theft of property is a form of violence Therefore rioters are inciting violence against the state to enact political change Therefore rioters are terrorist just like George Washington, Micheal Collins, Ho Chi Minh and Robespierre all led groups of terrorists.
edit for spelling

Terrorists are literally only trying to incite fear and make people question whether their causes are worth standing by when it means there are people out there who are willing to torture and kill them for holding those causes.
I mean I'm willing to kill a cop

Aren't some Confederate Generals remembered more for their battle strategies/tactics and are still being taught to this day? Seems like just as good a reason to keep a statue up when you really know how to keep your opponent back while having your hands tied behind you.
Monuments of confederates make sense in the context of a place where they were important historically speaking. A statue of Lee or Picket or Longstreet at Gettysburg or a memorial to any person slain there is not out of place nor necessarily glorifying any cause. A statue of Lee in the middle of a city in Tennessee erected during Jim Crow for the intent of scaring the niggers back in to remembering their place is not historically relevant and should be tossed for something more culturally relevant to the place it was in. That's a little less of "these men were fucking Gustav Adolf levels of brilliant" and more "these men are fighting the first big western war since a certain technology became general issue and have to figure out how to best use rifled muskets and their advantages over the smoothbores of last year's war against Mexico before the other guy does." Whatever they do is gonna be novel and will probably apply to small unit tactics for as long as rifles are the primary weapon of the infantry.

To a degree. Someone like Washington should still be held in high regard despite being a slave owner. Name things after him.
Someone like Columbus being so lauded these days is actually a relatively new phenomenon (19th centuryish) and kinda fucking weird considering the spanish crown that sent him over here fucking jailed him after his return for being suck brutal fucking cock to the natives. Tear his shit down, build statues of Leif Erickson.
