In PA we have no size laws and if we do it's in certain areas. When it comes to knives switch blades, gravity knives, basaltic and any other type of automatic opening system is illegal.
Whoa man, I thought gravity opening was okay, as well as assisted opening, just as long as there's no direct opening mechanism that operates as a switchblade.

Yeah, they seem to be the latest blade fad after kukris died down.
What's wrong with kukris? I have one, and its nice to have something that can be used as a machete, combat weapon, survival knife, and a tool of intimidation. They're pretty badass aesthetically too.

I don't get karambits. Sure, they look cool; but they have no real practical application. They also handle weirdly. I just don't really like 'em.
Yeah... Anyway, since this is basically a knife general thread, I'm thinking of getting another classic folding knife soon. Should I go with a Douk Douk, decide on a Higonokami type knife , or a Svord Peasant? The only thing that worries me about the peasant or higo is if the main rivet comes lose and it opens too easy in a pocket... at least the douk douk has that massive spring to "lock" the blade.
