I actually keep forgetting that Valentine's day is Saturday.

Just found that amusing.

I'd happily accept candy and sex
Too bad it will never be offered.

The mattress might offer sex, though.
Inanimate objects can't consent to sex.

However, they can't say no ether.

Fuck that.
I'm getting a little extra pay next week, so I think I'm gonna buy me some more bourbon and an NVA Wachregiment-Friederich Engels greatcoat. It's like a valentines gift to myself.

The Flood / Re: Let's get personal!
« on: February 12, 2015, 07:40:33 PM »
I used to be very social as a young child.
Then in the fifth grade my parents split. I kinda became a social recluse and just generally wasn't a happy person. There was never any striking, but there was lots of fighting between them during the divorce. Lots of fighting. That's most of what I remember about it. It's hard to fall asleep when people are shouting over who keeps what, or blaming each other for breaking something.
Anyway, my social withdrawal caused me to miss out on a lot of things. I had no friends. I developed no social skills. I could hardly talk to a girl between my own awkwardness and a few mother issues that I think I have worked out now. That stuck with me throughout the entirety of school, and even today I'm horrible at carrying a conversation, relying mostly on the other person/people to keep it going. It's led to some very awkward attempts at finding friends and a few horrendous dating attempts. I still have horrible levels of self confidence and question everything I do out of fear of making a fool of myself.
So here I sit, on a Thursday night, the internet my only social interaction as I try a few new drink mixes in preparation for some rare plans on Saturday.

Jim Beam makes an apple infused bourbon now. It goes very well with a little Fireball.
das, i know a way you can get over your social anxiety

if you ever feel you're screwing up a conversation with a new person, just start speaking german

they won't understand you so you can't embarrass yourself with words and you'll seem more exotic
You know, I once used a few erotic sounding German phrases that translate to little more than a grocery list to seduce an older gentleman.

I don't think it'll work again though.

The Flood / Re: I have a question about basic training.
« on: February 12, 2015, 07:16:24 PM »
One of the things they are trying to teach you in basic training is to keep your composure. If you burst out laughing, you are going to be disciplined for it, because they are trying to train you to not be that way. In the Air Force, disciplines were things such as cardio workouts, pushups, situps, flutterkicks, flipping mattresses in the dorms and being screamed at while having to put the bed back together in under sixty seconds, shit like that. It really depends on where you are at and who the instructor is, since you will deal with many different ones. It is not so hard to get through, and one of the main things is that you are going through it as a team with the other trainees. The instructors like to see you actually working together to get shit done. It is about building discipline, building teamwork, and breaking down the lazy attitudes most people come in with.
But Noelle...

>chairforce.
Hey, half of the people here would not make it in the Air Force. I would still be in if it were not for idiotic and outdated DoD medical policies. Also, what you said about there being a right time for stuff is true. We would have times where we would just chill with our instructor, she was fucking awesome. She would tell us stories about things she did in her career and would let us ask questions about whatever and we would just talk for an hour or two. She would also blast music on her IPod in the dorm while we were cleaning.
lol, true.

Just remember: Army Aviation - Above the Best!

Looks better with the gap. Shows the main body and the navbar aren't some kind of conjoined twin.
Also makes sense since we have a bottom gap.
of course the fucking nazi posts the retarded opinion
correct opinion.

Depends on the DS and the moment. Later on in the cycle, they'll tell jokes a lot. Helps keep morale up after so many weeks of fuck-fuck games. I thought I'd be smoked when I laughed at  a funny comment one of my DS's made during one of our first D&C classes, but instead he just got real close to my face and whispered something about knowing the right time to laugh, and if I do it in a class he'll take it as me not taking the material seriously.

As someone who laughs at more things than the average Americlap, it was hard for me to suppress such laughter.

Oh shit, I forgot all about cobra
He kinda just disappeared. I don't think I've talked to him in well over a year.
any coupfag that has not been heard from for at least a year is automatically assumed to be involved in shady underground sex industries in foreign countries or is now a jihadist
Why does that sound like something I've said before?
