The Flood / Re: How's everyone doing?

Eh.. I'm mixed.
Drama from last semester is getting brought back up.
I'm getting kind of overwhelmed with skool stuff.
I'm praying that the lego pieces I ordered come in before the contest ends.
And boo's gone for a few days, but it's okay and I hope they're having fun.

Lego contest?

Also sorry school is stressing you out :(
Yeah, on BZPower.
I really need a drink more than anything.

What's your fancy?
lol Kahlua
I don't have much drinking experience :b
*looks over in bin of alcohol*
Oh hey, I've got a new bottle of Kahlua now.

I forgot about that.

As I sit here studying lyrics, I'm kicking my own ass for volunteering to sing and reform the band as a three-piece after our singer just up and left his wife and kids to go live in Mississippi or some other shithole southern state.
What kind of band?
Kind of a typical rock cover band.
This was half of an old setlist.
>Rape Me
Never change.
I actually do want to change that one.\
Maybe Stain or Drain You... Aero Zeppelin even...

Have you ever thought about doing original shit?
I'm planning on tossing some of my songs in eventually.
I kind of just write for myself though. It kills time and acts as an occasional therapeutic release.
That's cool. What instrument do you play?
Bass.
There's many things I dabble at, but bass guitar is all I really play.
You should do some originals. I think from what I know about your music preference it would be gr8.
Picture Waylon Jennings playing for Hot Water Music and then halve the quality.

Damn, why'd he leave?
No clue. I didn't even know he'd left the state until like, a month after. I thought he just walked out on us...

Feel real bad for the girl though... got a bunch of kids who aren't even hers dumped on her like that.

Gaming / Re: What games can I play with my laptop?
« on: February 18, 2015, 02:22:08 PM »
What graphics card are you using? I'm assuming it's an integrated one, which isn't going to be good.

You can always try Can You Run It. It's not terribly exact and I've been able to run games fine that it suggested I couldn't, but it's worth looking into.

My guess? Relatively old games on low settings. Source Games, Quake, Age of Empires games, some Total War games and such.  You'll also definitely be able to run an emulator and play most games pre Xbox 360 / PS3 era.
Think I could run KOTOR?
A toaster oven could run Kotor.

Damn! That is way too long for any purchase. What state?

NJ
I feel for you man.

According to my LegalHeat app.. that state isn't very gun friendly. Surprisingly, its rated even worse than California in terms of Open Carry laws. 0_o. While Concealed Carried, they are rated the same.
Jersey is worse than LOLKOMMIFORNIA?!

LOL

A 72 year old man was just arrested in New Jersey and charged with felony weapons possession. His crime? He had a flint lock pistol, unloaded, in the glove box. He faces 10 years in prison, and I believe NJ has a mandatory 5 year sentence for any weapons charge.
Yes, I read the story. I think it's funny that people shit on California all the time for our gun laws, but then this shit happens.
It's because nobody cares about Jersey.
But you guys... you guys elect Feinstein to congress. Your shit affects all of us.

My avatar is easily among the best on the whole fucking site.
lol
what's your opinion on my avatar?
You've had better.
Why can't I be included in your avatar collection?
Sorry, living people only.

Yeah.
If I'm in jersey and not driving directly to a range or directly home from a store that sells them, and I have HP ammo on my person or in my vehicle then I'm in serious legal trouble.
