The Flood / Re: Waffle House vs. IHOP
« on: May 25, 2015, 02:35:08 PM »

IHOP sounds like the name of a place that would sell tyres or plumbing stuff.

It stands for "International House Of Pancakes"

and everyone knows pancakes from restaurants are disgusting.
They're usually made on the same grill that raw meat is cooked on.
and they probably don't wash their hands

Most likely not. Whereas at Waffle House we were constantly having to wash our hands and cooks had to wash their hands and change their gloves every time they touched the raw meat mainly because our customers were watching us cook and prepare their food. I worked at a Waffle House in an upper class area and the people who live there are vey particular and anal about everything, so our staff was held to a high standard. We didn't really have hose nasty tooth missing meth heads  like all the rest of the waffle houses. I actually made more money there as a server than I do as a shift supervisor at Starbucks, but it wasn't worth the stress, so I quit.
Yeah... you really can't compare any other waffle house in America to one like that.

Can I swing Tru around like a flail of sorts or does that break the no weapons rule?
I have a weapon of my own.
Your sister can't fight for you.
Who says I cant fight?
Your frail body and inability to resist your sister.
Just because I'm small doesn't mean I'm frail.

My sister is the fact I'm not going to raise my fist against her.
Ooooh, wow tru, I didn't think you liked your sister like that.

The Flood / Re: Do you believe in chaos
« on: May 25, 2015, 01:30:44 PM »

where x, y, and z make up the system state, t is time, and sigma, rho, beta are the system parameters. Five of the terms on the right hand side are linear, while two are quadratic; a total of seven terms. Another well-known chaotic attractor is generated by the Rossler equations which have only one nonlinear term out of seven. Sprott found a three-dimensional system with just five terms, that had only one nonlinear term, which exhibits chaos for certain parameter values. Zhang and Heidel showed that, at least for dissipative and conservative quadratic systems, three-dimensional quadratic systems with only three or four terms on the right-hand side cannot exhibit chaotic behavior. The reason is, simply put, that solutions to such systems are asymptotic to a two-dimensional surface and therefore solutions are well behaved.

Waffle house is only acceptable if it's 2:30 in the morning and you've just shut down the local bar.

Basically monolingual
Thank you for being honest.

I know that so many people are gonna lie in this thread.
I don't really see a reason to lie and make more out of my very small knowledge of a regional, bastardized  dialect of German that I'm practically illiterate in.

Serious / Re: How should the US change their anti-IS strategy?
« on: May 24, 2015, 07:24:42 PM »
I say we should hire willing Mercenaries to do the work
You do realize that the US hired a lot of mercenaries during the Iraqi War, and they performed miserably. It's a strategy that's not gonna work.
Alright. Then lets send our troops over even though many are unwilling to fight a fight we shouldn't be fighting. Nothing is more honorable than risking and possibly dying for someone else's nation.
When foreign adversaries like these can greatly affect the American homeland when left unchecked, yes, it's absolutely honorable to die in a preemptive action. These extremist Islamist groups aren't just the middle east's problem, they're our problem and our enemy too.
And who do you think originally created that threat? Who caused the Middle East to destabilize?
Abdul Hamid II
Back then, we left the Middle East alone.. Did we have acts of terrorism occur in our nation from Middle Eastern people? Or was it just from groups like the KKK?
Really?

Overseas acts of terror would have been a logistical nightmare back then. They were essentially unheard of worldwide. Globalization wasn't the thing it is now, and that changes everything.
Also, there was no way to get the kind of results that you can today to make a terrorist attack worthwhile. "Hey guys, let's take a ship for two months to America to lynch a few people at most and burn a church before we're killed." Sounds like a fine idea. Who wouldn't be jumping at the opportunity?

Aw shit son, happy birthporch day!

21919
I don't have a porch, so I went to a neighbour's house, sat on their porch and murdered a small rodent, leaving pentagrams everywhere.
I'm sure they'll appreciate it when they return.
You did a good deed by blessing their porch while they were away and unable to do themselves.

I would argue that the "self" is the BOTTOM priority.
Preservation of the self is top priority. Mind you that's just ensuring survival.
Selfless service of the self to others follows.
Continuation of the human species marks a third.

Who cares about animals suffering as long as you're not?
See now, that's just like, completely ignorant of al those who come after you.

Why not kill all of these animal motherfucks so I can eat dank meat and wear fur hats? It's not like I'm suffering. If there's a scarcity later, that's that generation's problem.

I don't work so much as I get paid to drink beer and fly planes.

Typically not in that order.
