People like you should really consider being more vocal in this whole debate man. I've been discussing this topic for a while now and can honestly count the number of reasonable pro-gun people I've encountered on both hands (and that includes people in real life). I'm sure it's no different on the other side but so many can't even get past basic platitudes ("criminals don't follow laws, that's why they're criminals duh") let alone actual facts, figures and research. It's damn refreshing being able to discuss these things with someone who doesn't just ignore most of the argument, dismiss high quality research as "garbage" because he doesn't like what the facts have to say, and thinks that "gun control doesn't work because place X has stricter rules but still high crime rates" is the argument that settles it all. More reason and logic might actually make an impact then for once.
It's an argument that I'm tired of having with the radical side of the 2a supporters, well, it's more like I'm tired of having to teach people how to argue for our side. Of course Chicago has stupidly high gun crime despite draconian gun laws. you can just go outside of the city limits or a quick trip to Indiana or Wisconsin and pick up all the cool toys the city won't let you buy. Of course that one small town with mandatory ownership has next to no violent crime. A university town five miles away from me just had their first murder in 20-some years last winter. Twenty fuckin years without a murder. I don't think my town of 400 has ever had one. A few suicides, but never a murder, and we don't make people own guns. Of course you go a few miles in the other direction, towards "civilization" and urbanization and every day in Reading two people are burglarized and once a month someone is murdered. But I do fall victim to some of the dumber arguments myself, likely because I'm sitting here in the middle of the east coast's major heroin artery and one county south of the land of "more meth labs than dogs" and it all colors my perception of federal law enforcement to be woefully inadequate at anything it does. So much so that some days I wonder if the feds themselves aren't furthering the opioid crisis for some hidden agenda.

I'm skimming through the bitchute popular/trending section and it's shameful how slanted, misleading and hatemongering this stuff is. Antisemitism, pro-Nazism, chemtrail conspiracy, clinton planning a coup conspiracy, buy gemstones to ward off bad spirits, "Trump Recruits Zionist Neocon John Bolton for War with Iran", holocaust revisionism, illuminati, false flag attacks, fake / highly misleading news about ((((((Zuckerberg)))))) and Facebook / Clinton committing treason, rise up against Islam... And that's all on just the first page of the trending and popular sections of the site. These are the high standards of top content on your typical alt-tech platform. You'll probably just meme about the antisemitism here, but this is a pretty serious concern. We're already dealing with enough filter bubbles and echo chambers as it is, but now imagine a large chunk of people moving to these platforms where critical thought, intellectualism and factual, balanced and informative content is completely absent and has been replaced entirely by these fake news, misleading and hatemongering videos by people pushing for less understanding, more division and a greater fanbase that'll follow them without question. And that alone is enough of a reason for me to steer clear of the "alt-tech".
Understandable. Such free platforming does unfortunately bring out the true undesirables that most everyone else does not wish to hear from, but those of us who simply wish to lawfully and safely enjoy recreational firearm use do not appreciate the automatic association with such. But what else can you do (besides moving to pornhub) when the monopolizing force on video sharing social media decides that you're not welcome on their platform anymore?

Good to know. I had always been under the impression that he's this neutral and reasonable guy steering clear from politics and this kind of stuff but guess I was wrong.
He's more or less sponsored but not sponsored by the NRA. He can't be apolitical.

I honestly wouldn't be annoyed as much if this wasn't the case. I like youtube because of the wide variety of bullshit I can find on it and if they follow these guidelines to the letter than a good half of my regularly viewed channels are gone and I'll have to follow them elsewhere. I know InRange already distributes content via bitchute, and many of the other guntube channels are on Full 30, but traffic for the former is abysmal and the later is a fucking cludge and a half.

With what we know about German involvement in the July Crisis, the Schlieffen Plan, the use of chemical weapons against Russia on January 31, 1915 (then once again April 22 on the Western front), and their failure to negotiate a peace with Russia early in the war (due to Germany's unwillingness to cease hostilities against France and GB) shows that Germany did play a role in kindling the war and it becoming the monstrosity we know it as today.
Russia definitely played a major role, though, equal at least to Germany.
I still say the fallout of Ferdinand's assassination would have remained a regional conflict if not for the franco-russo alliance.
