-- and I'm someone who has looked at both sides of the coin to try and understand why people like Hillary so much.
Going to be honest with my preference of Hillary stemming out of party support - I'm a Democrat, I'm going to support her the same way a Republican like PSU supports Trump.
Does it mean that I agree with everything Clinton does? No - her decision to use a private server was dumb (Though the investigation into such is teetering on that line too), her environmental stance is questionable, etc. But I agree with a lot more in the Democratic platform than I do the Republicans (Particularly on social and environmental issues), so it only makes sense to support the candidate who would do more to further that agenda.
Oh right, you democrat assholes are all about AGENDAS rather than the PEOPLE
Does typing certain words in all caps make you feel intelligent? Because it comes across as you spitting all over the computer screen.
Caps give EMPHASIS, idiot. Your horrible misinterpretation isn't my issue
I mean, if you want to really emphasize a certain point, credible sources and an ethical background on the issue would also do the trick. But sure, typing a couple words in caps is the best way to get your point across. Keep doing it

We all know who's gonna win.
The same person who cheated against an 80 year old socialist.
Have you found any nice places in Alaska?
I could request a job transfer to Anchorage.
But I'm not planning on going anywhere.
Icy get off your shitty alt
Is PSU my alt, or am I PSU's? The world may never know

Trump's Twitter is kill, apparently.
His own staff took it away.
A year and a half too late.
Would it really have changed anything?

So when does this start happening and by what time will it approximately end? I'll keep an eye open but am not going to stay awake for this.
IIRC, polls begin closing at 7PM EST. Generally (very generally), the winner is announced around midnight.
Fucking hell, how do burgers count so fast? It usually takes us bongs the entire night, and on occasions right up until the morning to count a couple million votes.
Here in the states, a lot of voting is done early (In some states, up to 70% is done ahead of Election Day).

First for Gary's 5%.
May actually happen - FiveThirtyEight has Johnson with 4.4% of the popular vote. Utah really hurt his chances though

After nearly 18 months of campaigning, tomorrow (11/8) is the conclusion of the 2016 elections ( and the start of the 2020 elections). Below are details on the campaigns final actions today and tomorrow, and once election data starts coming in, will be updated with electoral count, state data, etc. November 8th - Election Day Poll Closing Times I'll update this throughout today and tomorrow with some more information. Feel free to ask any questions you have

OT: I wouldn't say that there is a clear cut answer to this question, and there never will be, because it really falls down to your stance. If you support states rights, you're likely to find them to be patriots. On the flip side, those in favor of a strong national government would see them as traitors.

I look forward to seeing Hillary Clinton win on Tuesday night.
I'm gonna go ahead and say 307 electoral votes
yawn more like 207
Your "predictions" have no basis in reality, and I severely question your mental capacity when you make such statements.
If she gets over 300 electoral votes, I'll have cheat ban be from this website forever. Theres ZERO shot.
Except she's leading in the upper-Midwest, Nevada, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, North Carolina - which puts her in the upper 280's/ low 290's. Florida is also tilting more to the Democrats based on early voting, and with the news that the FBI has no new case against Clinton, enthusiasm is likely to increase.

Yawn, nice bias. Dude is a trillion times smarter and more successful than you.
Nice retort to the points Turkey made.

A wholly Spanish-speaking region should not have statehood.
Why is that?
The United States is an English-speaking nation. English is not an official language, but it is THE common tongue in this country. Any region given the level of power that comes with statehood should either be primarily English-speaking, or should make English fluency a component of public education (this may be the case in Puerto Rico, I don't know).
You act as though they don't already have a significant chunk of power as a territory - including a say in who becomes our President. Or through Congress bailing out their economy. Granting them statehood would allow their voice to be heard, much more effectively, during the legislative process as well.

This thread exemplifies what's wrong with American politics. There are more than two parties. Yet we talk like there are only the big two. Limiting the frame of discussion to just the big two keeps us choosing just from the shiniest of two turds. Until we recognize this, we'll stay right where we are.
This tbh. We really needed to include the parties that don't even win elections into our discussion on who's weakest.
Then the answer would be obvious (The Communist party). You're more than welcome to discuss them, but as neither really holds political power in the terms of governing, they can't really be placed in the same category

Limiting the frame of discussion to just the big two keeps us choosing just from the shiniest of two turds. Until we recognize this, we'll stay right where we are. Oh, Johnson's Libertarian and Stein's Green parties also came up in the discussion. Their collective issue as political parties is that, come November 10th, they will be forgotten for the next three and a half years because they make no real, concerted efforts to build a national name for themselves. Instead of using midterm and off election years to build up name recognition, fundraising capabilities, and actual candidates for legislative, judicial, and executive offices at the state and local levels, the two parties jump straight to (arguably) the most powerful office in the world to make their name. They are at reddit-tier candidates - as in until 2019/2020 when someone starts talking about them again (Likely on reddit), they fade off into the background and cease to exist in terms of having political power. Yes, the national media should cover Johnson and Stein more, and yes they should have been allowed at the debates. But their continuing failure rests on their shoulders as well for failing to attempt to build any semblance of power.

On the other hand, Democrats have been the culprits driving a stake between voters resulting in the poisonous identity politics
I'm not sure I'd put sole blame on Democrats, let alone either political party
