Honestly, in the face of ISIS, I'm perfectly fine with Assad staying in power.

I still have no idea why the Vex are the supreme bad guys of the four, what the hell this Darkness is, or why the hell a bunch of other shit happens. 8531

Might have to make a Destiny review as soon as I finish the main story. 8537
The Flood / Re: Sitting in my college algebra class gives me memories of middle school« on: September 10, 2014, 06:33:06 PM »I placed out of math in college because a took a bullshit class (Advanced Topics in Math) during my senior year.I automatically placed out of intermediate algebra because of my ACT score, but I had the opportunity to test out of college algebra as well. I decided not to and I kinda wish I did because holy fuck this is so easy it's pointless Would the college still let you test out of it at this point (As in, give you an exam and let you drop the class if you do well enough)? I know my school does something similar to that for the science and math students. 8538
Gaming / Re: Destiny made up to $500 million in sales apparently« on: September 10, 2014, 06:22:43 PM »
I dunno. I've done about three planets worth of Destiny, so I'm assuming close to 3/4 of the story, and I have no fucking idea what's going on. There's no flow, no questions answered, and it's full of uninteresting characters and enemies that could have been plucked out of the Halo universe, reskinned, and tossed into Destiny.
I really don't see how this will be a global phenomenon in three years, let alone ten. 8539
Serious / Re: Since I'm back from my long absence... SYRIA THREAD« on: September 10, 2014, 06:20:30 PM »There are no heroes in Syria. Just hatred and pointless violence. Could this not be a blanket statement for most of the North African/Middle Eastern world at this point? There's very few places that would be an exception. 8540

I'd be interested - it would be good practice for my future career (Journalism), but I'd also like to help the website grow.
Let me know if you want to see a sample or whatnot. I'm pretty open on topics. 8542

You sure you aren't talking about Steven Sotloff? There's a report out that the moderate rebel's sold out his position to ISIS for close to 50,000 dollars.

The Flood / Re: UN Game: Fallout Edition« on: September 09, 2014, 04:11:02 PM »How?This game jumped over 100 sharks, and Adam West pages ago.Meh, I agree with Noelle to a point. We're talking about a world that was bombed to nuclear hell. I doubt that we would have gotten to space and colonized in 14 years. The former government even failed to go into space before the bombs dropped. I have no idea what a UN game is, but it would make more sense to at least try and stick with the theme. As I said. Less than 25 years after nuclear Apocalypse, and we are back in space, colonizing an entire continent (2 if there's actually someone in Japan), etc. Just my opinion. 8546

The Flood / Re: UN Game: Fallout Edition« on: September 09, 2014, 01:07:15 PM »Fallout is just the theme of the game. This isn't a Fallout game, it is a UN game. No, I do not. The people playing this do not understand how Fallout works either. So you guys have millions of soldiers, have spaceships, moon bases, and have factions that control most of America? This is not even Fallout anymore.I don't think you understand how UN games work Meh, I agree with Noelle to a point. We're talking about a world that was bombed to nuclear hell. I doubt that we would have gotten to space and colonized in 14 years. 8550

Are these groups just taking advantage of the chaos and appearing out of nowhere to claim stuff? Let's just call them Satan. |
