You DO realize there are non-Islamic terrorists
And most of them small and irrelevant.
Doesn't change the fact that if someone actually believed the thoughts TallMidget spewed, we'd be bombing a good 50+ countries.

This is about eradication of an extreme and dangerous sect and terrorist ideals.
Are we eradicating terrorism, or Islam in general?
Cause in either way, bombing countries, committing executions, etc. isn't the correct way to fix either problem.
If eliminating Islam is what it takes then I'm all for it. A large faction that stems terrorism will be gone and I will not weep tears.
You do realize bombs, guns, executions, and torture are not the ways to defeat a religion, correct?
If anything, you're only going to strengthen extremist resolve.
You're right, determination and longevity of dropping those bombs will defeat a religion. A war until they break their resolve. They sure as hell won't stop if we do. We should bomb them back into whatever stone age they're still stuck in, and then some.
Because nobody will mind America committing genocide or try to stop America.
Wow. This is just something else. Have you ever met any of these people you hate so much?
Once again, somebody has to do the dirty work, and it's often the United States. Let them hate us, but we just freed the modern civilized world from a bunch of terrorism for a long time.
You DO realize there are non-Islamic terrorists, and that there are Islamic terrorists elsewhere in the world besides the Middle East? Going to start bombing France next?

Are we eradicating terrorism, or Islam in general? Separating the two is difficult.
I don't believe so - but again, we've had this debate about twenty times in this forum.
It isn't my fault you refuse to accept the truth.
Us commies are blinded by equality.

Just a general warning: Avoid attacking the personal political views of others, and keep things relatively calm.
If it gets out of hand, official warnings will come. >.>

No, there are no rules, and never should be any guidelines for something as brutal as war. All bets are off and it should be whatever it takes to win, no matter the cost. THAT is war, and THAT is exactly how the terrorists are fighting it. This is about as archaic a belief as one can get.
So why aren't we? Because we aren't underfunded militants fighting, what has essentially become, guerilla warfare.
That was Vietnam, and America was hated for it. Hell, still are.
We should torture all the people we can if it will break their morale, we should parade their broken bodies in the streets. We should have mass executions in towns that hide terror scum so they know we won't fuck around. They want to bomb civilian areas? Then so will we. And guess what - that makes you the terrorists as well. You are saying we should torture anyone we can, parade broken dead bodies in the streets, and conduct mass executions?
You sound like ISIS.
Oh, its IcyWind, liberal savior of the evil United States. Disregard.
You disregard my argument because of a different political leaning? That's not the way things work in Serious.

Alright. The thread has been cleared of anything that has occurred since the last update - posts relating to Elegiac and Kiyo are now in the Septagon forum.
Keep it clean >.>

All the rukus in here is really quite sad.
Believe me, it is quite tempting to cut off everything after the OP and start anew.

Is it down like, forever? Was it a copyright thing or something?
Looks like it. Swedish officials raided a server room or something, and it's been down since.

Okay, that's enough.
Elegiac, we've told you what you can do if you honestly have problems with the moderating team. The subtle threats you're making don't help your case, nor will it do anything to fix the problems you see.
Anymore discussion on the matter, in this thread, will result in warnings. There are ways to address a problem - this is not one of those ways.

« on: December 10, 2014, 01:55:06 PM »
Yeah, even after stating this thread would be kept unlocked to allow discussion, that clearly doesn't look like it's going to happen.
Elegiac, if you have a problem with anyone on the moderation staff, as Flee just told you, you are welcome to either make a serious discussion thread about it in the Septagon forum, or personally message Cheat regarding it. Subtle attack threads like this is not the way to go about it.
Locking this now.

Yeah, let's not start a fight in here.
Elegiac, I've gotten your messages and seen your replies - the current event is adequate and covers everything without going into the detail you wish, detail which would likely result in further problems.
Not including it is going to result in further problems.
Alrighty Elegiac, I can't say the whole reason why but I can say that the reason for Kiyo's demotion was not related to the one that you are postulating <.< You are free to disagree if you like, but the fact is that it was an unrelated issue that led to the reshuffle.
Then I'll have to be more thorough this time.
Subtle threats won't get you anywhere.

Updated!
- Slash's resignation
- Staff Changes
- First Game Night on September 6th
The current information is sufficient enough. There was shit, Kiyo was demoted. That's how it will stay.

Someone has to do the dirty work.
I'd be fully in support of torture - even of children - if it were shown to work.
100% disagree.

Yeah I'm pretty sure Al Qaeda leaders are giving the children all the intel.
They have teenagers strapping on bomb vests, so nothing would surprise me.
You think they are really giving teenagers, sent on suicide missions, valuable info?
I mean, it's unlikely, but if they're desperate, they might.
The answer is probably not. Hell, even grown men suicide bombers don't have a ton of crucial information - if you're being sent out to blow shit up and kill yourself, terrorist organizations aren't going to waste time trying to explain shit.
