The Flood / Re: Is it wrong that I enjoy this thought?
« on: December 11, 2014, 12:10:52 AM »
bun

Can I ask, why bump all these threads? Especially with little to no discussion value?

That's the answer I was given, and the correct answer. If you'd like to discuss it further, bring it up to Cheat himself.

But it's not correct, as I just explained.

Users feel the need to cause petty drama, when there are better resources for their problems regarding the site.

Hard to do when given an unjust ban without being watched first and also given a ban from messaging, and when the ban expires days after it is stated.

Not all moderation goes strictly from "Verbal Warning, Watched, Watched, Ban".

As the rules state (And did in the last iteration), every moderation action can be different, and previous moderation actions can have an effect.

Still completely dumb to ban private messages. Just begging for abuse.

I'll bring it up to Cheat.

Edit: It turns out, the period in which you are referring to regarding being unable to PM, you were blacklisted - this prevents you from doing so. In the event of a lite-ban, you should be able to.

It was before I was blacklisted, after I kept reporting spam posts since I couldn't message, but when I was blacklisted I couldn't even view the forum until I used Google Incognito.

I have no idea. You should write an angry letter about this or something. Seems unjust to me, letting a swell fellow like yourself go without a mod promotion.

The admin should be ashamed (who is probably a minority who steals things like nameplates).

Journalist, working political stories, preferably in Boston or Seattle - not an old fashioned newspaper, but edgy.
Are you planning on sleeping your way up the ladder?

Only if my contact is Frank Underwood.

Stop worrying so much. You have your whole life, and ya, college was probably a big waste but no use clinging to the thought about it. Money isn't everything, and it won't make you happy. Just start being productive, exercise, do something that will build a little pride and character. Hell, do what I do and provide for yourself. It's the best feeling in the world.

How is the Washington State wilderness treating you?

Is this type of weaponry really necessary?
Well it does cost a $1 to fire it, so there's some cost efficiency when compared to conventional explosives

And how much did it cost to invent, test, and build?
An $11 million contract was made to develop the product

I can think of better uses for $11 million (Which, is likely underreported).
Possibly, but this innovation that's not only creating new jobs but new technologies.

And $11 million could be put towards fixing basic infrastructure in America, something that is desperately needed and actually has an impact on our daily lives.

Aircraft in the Military has led to improvements in civilian aviation as well.

To double down on that, as Icy just beat me to the punch.

I did indeed request that you stop that, I would be quite displeased if I had to start getting harsh over it. I will extend the same request to noelle though, in terms of common courtesy.
If you would both stop calling each other names, that would be appreciated.

So no dingoes and no jabs at noelle's gender thank you very much >_>
So nobody can call him a dingo? Or just me?

Just don't call him a dingo, in general.

Elegiac, stop the personal attacks. Only warning.
Tit for tat. I asked him to stop. If he won't respect my wishes why should I respect his? The door swings both ways.

Kindly refer to Noelle as a female, including using she, as that is her gender.
Does what I'm saying even register with you? I'll show it respect when it shows me respect.

As I just said to her right above, not to call you a dingo.

Though, in the earlier thread, you stated you didn't care if you were called a dingo, IIRC, so I'm quite perplexed.

Either way, just be nice to each other >.>

Of course not, two different numbers can't be equal.

50/50

Either they are equal, or they aren't.
