Serious / Re: Trump doing his thing« on: January 24, 2017, 02:22:27 PM »One of Trump's more notable speeches in relation to Gitmo is "We're gonna put a lot of bad dudes in there!"Well I've been watching some stuff. Oliver Stone's The Untold Story Of America. Most of it I already know. Though, each episode makes me think less and less of my country. Anyways. The photos of those prisoners in there were awful. A bush quote. "I don't care about international law, we're gonna kick some ass" The fuck man... IF they're proven guilty, that would be one thing. But this is just like oh, you're suspected, so, you don't have right anymore, fuck you.Let's hope he doesn't do anymore of that. While I certainly agree with your opinion, I wouldn't exactly say Stone is a....good choice for gaining said opinion. 523
Serious / Re: Trump doing his thing« on: January 23, 2017, 06:09:00 PM »ITT: Let's antagonize Deci because he voted for Trump. Alternative fact: It's not antagonizing, you're just wrong about your facts. 524
Serious / Re: Trump doing his thing« on: January 23, 2017, 05:01:15 PM »The only person I just don't talk about it with is Flee, because him and I would get into very heated arguments before and its not worth fighting over it.I don't think I've ever seen you defend your position in supporting Drumpf. But I'm not. You said the store that you applied for is a "Mom and pop like shop." The policies you described in response to Azumarill's post, about trade deals and manufacturing jobs, are primarily aimed at huge multinational corporations - Toyota, Ford, Boeing, companies like that. Those policies wouldn't impact mom and pop shops, because they already have small number of employees in one (maybe two) locations. Those stores are more impacted by local and state laws, taxation issues, etc. There isn't a correlation there. 525

And neither does your post above. 526

Okay, hold up. What has brought you to the conclusion that you are likely to get this job because we have had Trump as President for a bit over 72 hours? I'm honestly quite curious what mindset you have here. 530

Alternative facts.

Serious / Re: Trump doing his thing« on: January 23, 2017, 04:26:55 PM »it could be a "me and the bossman bonded over how #bigly trump is winning" thingThe only person I just don't talk about it with is Flee, because him and I would get into very heated arguments before and its not worth fighting over it.I don't think I've ever seen you defend your position in supporting Drumpf. Which is -arguably- worse. But that gets into the whole affirmative action debate that would be ten pages of circles. 532

So...you're thanking Trump that you might get the job? Do you really believe that correlation? 533
Serious / Re: Trump doing his thing« on: January 23, 2017, 02:22:45 PM »
I simply find it amusing how you come in here to give "witty" posts with questionable opinions, then retreat and say "I'm not looking to talk about it!" whenever someone comes by and asks why you have such an opinion. It's almost like you know you're incorrect, but don't care. Or you post Dad Rock and out of date memes. Simply waiting for actual contribution. 535

Serious / Re: First President Statement already looking bad« on: January 22, 2017, 04:56:17 PM »The fact we're even arguing this because Trump brought it up due to his ego complex, has me honestly kind of looking forward to what other petty things he's gonna bring up in the next 4 years. I look forward to putting my petty sarcasm to use. 539
Serious / Re: First President Statement already looking bad« on: January 22, 2017, 04:55:27 PM »Do you not understand what "across the globe" means? Not a lie. He said it had a record number of people watching in person and across the globe. Just because there weren't as many people actually there doesn't mean anything.Sounds like a good statement to me. I'm quite aware what it means, thanks. I'm simply awaiting Trump and co. to actually give numbers to discredit the widely available data out there. Instead of shouting like little babies, they should actually show me the information. Or are these more of the "alternative truths?" 540
Serious / Re: First President Statement already looking bad« on: January 22, 2017, 04:50:51 PM »Don't argue with Trumpets. Lies and Truths are whatever they do or do not agree with. They're subjective.Sounds like a good statement to me. Too late. |
