For the record, the reason why this is locked is due to this: NSFW threads (including sex role-plays, sex stories, Cheerio threads, etc.) that do not include photos or videos are allowed in The Flood, so long as the thread is distinguished as being NSFW. Responses in these threads do not need to be in spoiler tags.
Even with a tag, sexual images are not allowed in the mains. Sorry

I understand your anger, trust me. The staff is working hard at resolving this issue to the benefit of the community, and will hopefully have a solution in a couple days, in time for the start of the holiday season.
In the meantime, we ask that everyone take a breath and proceed with caution on all forums, namely ours, until the new policy is finalized. Gatsby, despite being a jackass, will receive no further punishment due to our "No retroactive punishment" policy.
If you have any questions or concerns you wish to be brought to the staff, feel free to let me know in a message or this thread.

I'll bring the topic to discussion with the staff, but as I said, we do not (or have not) retroactively punished users with new rules.
No guarantees or promises other than an upcoming spoiler policy, NSFW/Spoiler Tags for threads, etc.

On top of Cheat's post, I can let you know that the staff is working on a spoiler policy to help prevent this.
More coming eventually >.> Is there going to be any consequence for Gats?
We don't retroactively punish users as we add new rules and policies, so unfortunately no. If it happens again, then yes.

And I'm done here. Continue the circle jerk of "Lol Right to Privacy" when you both know that there are plenty of methods you can do to make a difference if you so choose.
Complaining here is not one.

And stop using "HURRRRR PETITION SCOTUS LOL" as if it's fucking easy for any average person to do.
But it isIf an 83 year old could do it, you have no god damn excuse. Doesn't really matter since people like you and Turkey exist and make up the general population.
Great attitude. Sure is a good thing the Founding Fathers didn't revolt, because there were loyalist who were fine with the way it was!

So in other words, you're a corporate shill. But no matter how you twist it, it's still an invasion of privacy.
You could literally apply the "you pay for it but it's not yours" to every item you purchase in existence. It's a poor excuse to invade into private information.
It's not "private information" because you are not hosting the data. You are paying for the access, and for the ISP, to host everything you do. They host the data, they hold it's contents. As I said, if you don't like how those rules are you are always welcome to petition the Supreme Court to change the 4th Amendment:
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures None of which covers the data ISP's have control over.
That doesn't make it okay
Never said it's okay. My first post was that I don't care because I have nothing to hide. If someone wants to dig through my Gmail emails or my downloads, fine. They'll see that I download Lady Gaga music. If you really want to make a difference, stop complaining about it on an offshoot website and take legal action. You're perfectly able to as a US citizen to start making a change instead of complaining about how "wahhh it isn't fair!" on a forum.

I don't really care.
Apathy is a horrible trait.
The delusion that there is any sort of "right to privacy" is as well.
Oh, so because you don't believe in it means it should be irrelevant for everyone else.
That's probably one of the most retarded things I've ever heard. Just so happens being retarded is a horrible trait, too.
Lol.
The only "definition" of a right to privacy in the United States judicial system is the 4th Amendment - which does not apply to data mining because that data does not belong to you - it belongs to the ISP's that provide you access.
If you are that afraid that you are being violated, the Internet is not a necessity. You chose to use it, you pay for access. What you do is not entitled to any sort of protection.
Contents of my local disk and email do not belong to anyone. And you know it might also be that the 4th amendment was made when there wasn't even electricity and desperately needs to be updated.
I'm sorry, but those files you download? The email provider? All of that data does not belong to you. You aren't hosting it, the ISP is. The delusion that it is under the 4th Amendment is laughable. Petition SCOTUS if you want it protected, otherwise you have no "right to privacy" on the Internet.

Serious is Meta and Psy's horrific lovechild.
So therefore, Psy has custody this weekend.
i've seen psy make like a handful of threads in serious. I'm simply going off of who keeps the board alive
Psy is the distant father who pays child support only when court ordered.

you don't find the blatant invasion of privacy to be unlawful?
There is no "right to privacy" codified under any sort of the American legal or judicial system. And before you go into "4th Amendment!", no. The 4th Amendment does not imply or apply to digital records, as they are under the ownership of the various ISP's that you may use - they are not directly yours, therefore your "right to privacy" does not apply. Until a Supreme Court rules that it is such a thing, tough shit.

I have an iPhone 5S right now.
I can upgrade my phone in October, and I'm honestly 50/50 on whether I will stay with Apple, or jump ship to Android.
Convince me to pick a side.

Tell that to their degrees.
