For a party of progressives, there are more old white men on stage than at the GOP debate.

Good use of Facebook for a party aiming for the youth.

Sanders (I think) draws loudest cheers.

Anderson Cooper as moderator?

Why didn't they go with him for the last one as well?

RNC might not have wanted him.
Right, cause he's gay.

Clearly.

They better not bring up Trump tonight, I swear to God m8

They will, but indirectly - They'll mention him when discussing immigration, but I doubt we'll get "Do you feel Trump is insane?"

Unlike the GOP debate.

Time to start.

Would I love to be able to go to school tuition free, have childcare, free healthcare? Sure, I'm sure everyone would love that. But it is never going to happen
why live then, tbh

Just because you aren't getting them for "free" (Or, on the back of taxes and other funding methods) does not mean there are not numerous other ways that can improve the system and lives for millions.

HOPING FOR THAT SANDERS SMACKDOWN™

no but seriously hillary makes me nervous so unless she makes some good demonstrations tonight i really hope sanders can dramatically outperform her
Sanders trumps [lol] every other candidate when it comes to consistency.

Which'll mean jack shit as President, since he'll be able to do nothing on his agenda.

Quote
Hillary can't exactly lean back and let her record speak for itself. While she was supporting traditional marriage 5-10 years ago, Bernie was fighting for legalizing back in the 70's.

As a gay man, I really could care less.

Quote
His "socialism" is going to be his uphill battle.
The argument I offer about his consistency is to illustrate that his positions are genuine, not what is politically popular. This applies to most of his platform.

Again, great.

Ludicrous, genuine plans are still ludicrous.
His plans are ludicrous in the sense that he'll be hard-pressed to get them through Congress, but not ludicrous in the sense that they're absurd plans.

Except, even to a liberal like myself, they are absurd and not feasible in the long term.
What exactly do you find absurd?

Let's start with the cost. We're talking hundreds of billions, if not trillions, in new government expenses that are economically unfeasible - like it or not, we're living in a time where both sides of our government (Yes, Democrats are responsible for this as well) cannot come together and pass a semi-balanced budget. And before you say "Tax the rich" - you're only going to get so much out of them if you go that route, and at some point, the well will run dry and we will be more fucked than we are now.

Would I love to be able to go to school tuition free, have childcare, free healthcare? Sure, I'm sure everyone would love that. But it is never going to happen, even if Sanders becomes President. He does not have executive power to do so, and we already know that Congress is a shit-show - any executive orders he issues will be thrown to the courts, and if they make it to the Supreme Court, would be likely decimated - this isn't the 1930's, he isn't going to be a new FDR.

Sanders needs to realize this, and realize that his plans are doomed, and his Presidency is doomed to a lame-duck session, unless he makes alterations: Not free college, but work to change federal guidlines on student loaning and make the private industry less dangerous; Not free government childcare, but offer startups to the states to help establish more reliable childcare services in major cities, etc.

>forcing women to get raped

Are you a spambot or something? Your post literally makes no sense or even applies.
If women got selected for service, they'd be forced to go to a place where sexual assault rates are something like 1 in 3.

He's right you know.

You think if Clinton flops Biden might finally enter the race?

No. Clinton's performance in the debate is going to have little impact on Biden.

I expect a rebound for Clinton if she can manage herself well - she's a well trained debater.

Sanders is going to have to defend his "socialist" self terming
Clinton is going to have to defend herself against email-gate
O'Malley is going to try to be Fiorina 2.0
Webb and Chaffee are going to try and just be recognizable.

I expect a rebound for Clinton if she can manage herself well - she's a well trained debater.

China starts implementing mass propaganda focused nationalism and loyalty
Results in more population placed in military and workforce

All technological and scientific progress is halted
Most efforts now fall into producing food for its population and improving healthcare

Population health dramatically increase
Most of China's population projected to be healthy in a few years

China also moves effort to strengthening border defense
As much of the population is now in the workforce, a massive series of walls and other defenses projected to be done in only five years
Ukraine offers a peace treaty to China. As a sign of good will, we will also send you the invention of penicillin if you wish.
