The Order will send out 3,000 Jedi Knights in civilian vessels towards Coruscant in an effort of building a Jedi Temple in Republic City. They shall be under the command of Master Fisto there, and he shall be the liaison to the Republic from now onwards. The Order also asks if they could recruit any Force-sensative from Coruscant in order to bolster their numbers and thus aid the Republic better.Master Fisto wants to discuss the ways on how this alliance will be developed. What are the Republic's propositions?Having taken a huge detour, Kit Fisto's shuttle finally arrives to Republic space. The Republic feels this is an appropriate agreement. Any Force-sensitive children throughout the Republic will be sent to the Jedi Temple upon completion. Until then, they will be sent to the original temple. Chancellor Abin invites Master Fisto on a tour of the city, in search of a suitable location for the temple. 1361

A mutual defense treaty would be beneficial to counteract Sith expansion out of the inner core region. The Republic will grant the Jedi approval to conduct any peacekeeping and diplomatic missions in our territory, in exchange for a contingent of Jedi to be stationed on Coruscant. Those Jedi will operate until General Ku, in the event of armed conflict. The Jedi will also gain access to medical and military advancements achieved by the Republic. 1362

Serious / Re: CNN: Donald Trump polling ahead of Clinton« on: July 25, 2016, 10:34:11 AM »zero general election debatesDo you think Hillary will be able to beat back Teflon Don in the debates? Beat back isn't what will happen. Up until the first debate, voters won't have had the opportunity to see both candidates in the same room. We've heard the candidates go back and forth where Trump has his speech, and then three days later Clinton has hers. And the next week, it's a repeat. It's all very scripted, paint by the numbers. While debate speeches are still quite scripted, it is much easier to see the faults and points of error - and they are much more glaring because the candidates are kind of put on the spot where they have to rebut their opponent immediately. Debates won't make or break a candidacy in terms of party line voters. But debates can be incredibly important to independent voters, who most of the time are very much on the fence until the last few weeks before election day. 1378

Oh, that's a likely chance. Polling, especially political polling, is a shitty and often less than reliable field because trends and similarities are uncommon between cycles. And sure, I'd be lying if I said I didn't hope that these polls are all wrong. One of the few constants that remain is that the further away from the election, the less reliable national polling data is. The closer we get to November 7th, the more precise most polls will get. I can get more into that as well. Fact is, we've only had one half of the party convention, zero general election debates, and both parties just completed their tickets. By late August/early September (as with most years), the data clears up quite a bit. 1379

Quote National polls don't have a large enough sample to accurately reflect the state of play in key battlegrounds, and there is little information thus far on how Trump's convention performance has affected the presidential race state-by-state. 1380
