I can't tell if he's wielding a modified grenade or a modified rolling pin but either way it looks brutal.

That's a holiday?
just another excuse to get shitfaced
yep mexicans love justifying their little parties
Not to mention all the rich, white students on my campus. I could hear them from a mountain summit two miles away. Their neighbors must have been furious.
wonder how many actually know what the "holiday" is supposed to commemorate
And how many people think the answer is "Mexico's Independence Day."

If everything about you prior to the decision is erased it wouldn't really matter. As Hillary Clinton I'd at least have more freedom to do as I liked.

The Flood / Re: Who would win in a fight? Zelda or Halo?
« on: May 06, 2016, 09:45:10 AM »
Halo rings have pulse-firing mechanisms that kill all organic life within a 25,000 light-year radius, Zelda has varying powers depending on the iteration. She has had powers of telepathy, precognition, spell-casting, and creating or undoing barriers/seals across the series. If Zelda were like batman I can see her having a chance of winning, given she could understand the mechanisms behind the halo rings and what they do. It's pretty stacked against her favor, however.

Get yo booties in here.
Sorry, I decided to camp in the mountains last night. Did you guys establish a campaign schedule?
Also, if we use Hoard of the Dragon Queen for campaign content I also have the Rise of Tiamat follow-up campaign book.

This is probably why people don't take you seriously.
also apparently spam is okay now since the mods have yet to ban him
I have also wondered why no mods have commented on this.
Actually, Flee did comment on it in the discord thread. That's the only warning I've seen so far, so I think it's fair to not outright ban him.

I have someone that would DM if we wait a bit longer. Maybe a week or so.

If you can find a DM

Then fuck it sure.
I'd also be interested if you have more room.

But Deci, with Quick-Reply you can write a post when viewing a topic without loading a new page. You can still use bulletin board code and smileys as you would in a normal post.

I don't know who's the shitty SMF programmer who wrote that but he really turned it into a meme thanks to Sep7agon.

Quick reply still sucks dick.

Pay to make a thread

Pay to change your profile pic

Gay.
I actually use it pretty frequently.

I like the new creatures (and retextured ghouls) showcased. If I could bear playing more than a couple hours of Fallout 4 at a time I'd consider getting it.

What's the fun of having a game like DND if you can't see just how far you can go with the limits of the game?

Explorers are interesting players, but they have a tendency to get out of character if their curiosity isn't satisfied by the content of the campaign, or if their primary objective isn't really role-playing (which is a crucial aspect of playing and enjoying D&D). However, explorers can be good DMs because they're interested in the limits of the design and can create unique challenges for players.
Quote
Doing some textbook LARPer crap is boring. There's nothing interesting about doing the same shit over and over again. "Oh we're gonna fight Goblins and then kill the dragon and save the princess and we're going to artificially extend this by about ten weeks through doing the same heroic cliche shit before.
I'd agree, when the DM designs a campaign with conveyor-belt grindfests the appeal of combat wears thin quickly. That's more the DM's fault than the design of the core game, however. As a DM you have to cater to the playstyles of your group and find novel ways for them to work together to solve problems. Sometimes it happens that one player just doesn't fit in the group (for any number of reasons) and you have to ask them to leave or adapt so everyone else can enjoy the campaign. That's just part of being a DM.
Quote
No fuck that, I like the runs where everyone is over the top and not taking it seriously because that's WAY more interesting.
There are campaigns where role-playing isn't prioritized, but it's rarer. The majority of D&D players enjoy roleplaying their characters seriously.

In fifth grade I was part of a weekly D&D group using 3.5, and later I read the rulebook and became a DM. I got a lot of my friends into it that way, and still occasionally play with them. The rules they use for campaigns are different than 3.5, but I give them counsel if need want design advice pertaining to 3.5. I stopped DMing a while ago, I wasn't very adept at it.
