Change if being you hurts you enough to be someone else. You can't just pretend to be someone else, you must change yourself for it to work.

One of the hardest things you can do, I think, but it would be worth the payout.

I can never pretend. Its hard for me to be fake, and I don't like fake people.
She's not telling you to pretend, she's indicating that you should legitimately and honestly change if you're suffering more as you are now.

I feel like that's really hard to do though. I can't just flip a switch and become a total savage.
I don't think anyone meant it as flipping a switch. Aether's post summarizes it best, I think. Mindfulness towards abiding and actually doing it is the most important part of changing. If you fail, process why you've failed and try again. As to the savage part I don't understand what you mean.

Fantastic visuals doesn't communicate anything about story or gameplay, and does not deserve a 9 based on visuals alone. It certainly seems to have a lot of critical acclaim, though. I'm waiting to see what fans have to say about it.

I beat the game, I completely forgot to put that in haha, I posted that when I was towards the end and just wanted to say how beautiful it is.

The entire game, gameplay story and visuals are absolutely incredible.
Oh, sorry I didn't see that. Are you planning on reviewing it? I don't have a ps4 but I'm building a list of titles I want to try out and the Uncharted series seems interesting.

Finished making a late-night inspiration dish. Next time I'm using better peanuts.
I'm thinking about the next meal I'm making tomorrow morning and that's exciting.

6/10?

Idk who that even is, but it seems okay.

Mine is a minimalist Star Lord.
I didn't want to cut you off, your avatar reminds me of the iron giant. I seriously enjoy the contrast of light and dark. Very aesthetic and stoic.
There's probably a NSFW version which judging by the expression is creepy as fuck

Mine is the embodiment of the sadboi life
This avatar disturbs me, but I like the color scheme with your nameplate.

My avatars are related to something I'm working on, whether that's a review, personal interest, etc.
I'm almost done rewatching the first season of Mushishi (which my avatar is from), and I'm going to probably write a review for it soon.

I would like a point of comparison from now to after our campaign is over of how your opinion of me changes.

By the way we rolled for mutations and you can now transform into any humanoid or beast of your choice for 20 min.

Sure, as long as you're okay with this

We're all going to be so OP.
Also we still need a copy of the monster manual to find out which beasts/humanoids boss can turn into. Could he transform into any of us?

Conversely, my Thursday night was peaceful and quiet. I finally spent a night by myself in the mountains like I've been wanting to for years. I think I may make it a habit.

There's a rather handsome tree on the outskirts of town, I'll have you know.

It's just a sapling you monster!
That's one of boss' proclivities, however.

You find food and (dirty) water everywhere. All this does is make it useful.
Food is extremely useful even when not playing survival, but that's only when it's cooked.

How would you guys feel about capping the progressive ranks at Mythic and then adding in 3-4 relative ranks that only allow the top-ranked members in? I'm thinking that might be a better solution than moving the goals for the ranks again.

So for instance:

Everything is the same up to Mythic. Once you hit Mythic, your posts, time online, warnings, trust, etc would be weighted and added up, and each day or week or something, the forum would basically check and see who the top ranking users are, then assign them to the extra-mythic ranks.

Kind of like a seasonal rank in Halo 5 or something, but more relative and long term, since you'd be competing with the member pool as a whole.
Couldn't this also generate the problem of competitive shitposting?

Oh Verb, don't worry. Really, don't. Every single Dark Souls player has been there and knows exactly what you feel. That crushing defeat of losing all the souls and humanity you've spent hours on. The feeling of just being done with the game and ready to give up. It really does happen to everyone who's played the games enough. And it's the make it or break it point. A crushing loss and a seemingly insurmountable foe. This is the stage where thousands of players have given up and just walked away, and that really isn't an exaggeration.
Like Vaatividya said in one of his videos, this moment emulates the in-game struggle of going hollow, and I think the game is better for it because it allows the player to sympathize with the plight of characters in the world of Dark Souls. It makes the experience that much richer if this feeling is overcome.

I've only watched episode Duscae gameplay and I'm fairly ambivalent towards it. The visuals are nice but the world feels a little empty for how spacious it is. These sandboxes are understandably large for using Noct's abilities in combat but when free-roaming I'm wondering how engaging they'll be beyond "gorgeous views." I like that it's taking a combat approach similar to Kingdom Hearts, but until I feel the combat for myself I'll reserve judgments. Sometimes I noticed the enemy AI shuffles around too much when they could be more aggressive. I like the premise of being on a road-trip across the world, this is perfect for showcasing the vision behind the new setting, which after 8 years of development I would hope intrigues players. The only thing that intrigues me about it so far is the sequence with Leviathan, it doesn't look like the events are prompted by QTEs and it's like traversing a continually shifting Shadow of the Colossus boss.
I don't particularly care much for the characters, but I don't think it's fair to evaluate characterization completely outside of the game's context, so again I'd have to play it. None of them have really stood out to me so far from the game's presentation, however. Overall I'm withholding judgment but the content shown thus far doesn't particularly intrigue me.

It never comes up in conversation so there's no need to. If there were a need, however, I'd explain that I never really think about there not being a god, it's just an internalized sentiment and I focus on other things. The God debate seems like a pointless waste of time to me.

I agree. There are more opportunities for both, but you can perform better with more sleep.
