But if half are remixes, then that means we'd only be getting 10 original maps and 10 edited versions of those maps.
We don't know if they're going to be like that. Literally nowhere has stated as such.

I was more talking of DMR and BR. The SMG was fine IMO and I can't remember using the AR. I'm glad the weapons are getting tweaked after feedback, though. That's good news.
And my complaints about the AI callouts are more to do with unaware players getting an awareness boost, as well as the system being potentially exploitable, since it's essentially pinging all the enemy players and letting you know where certain ones are.
Sure, sprinting has consequences and the no-health-recharge-while-sprinting thing is good, but IIRC it's still unlimited sprint. If bullets slowed down sprint speed and there was a limit on duration, I'd be fine with it being in.
And yeah, it does feel fast because of movement and abilities, but IMO sprint + thruster pack is more than enough. Clambering is overkill and it is way too forgiving on the distance you can grab.
The DMR and BR can easily be outgunned by the AR and SMG. Most of my kills were against people using the DMR or BR whilt using the SMG and AR. AI callouts don't really do anything. There's so much happening that they were drowned out anyway. The option to turn them off is even better. Sprinting isn't really an issue. You only sprint to get back into the action, and trying to sprint away will penalize you. Plus base player speed has been increased, giving less incentive to sprint often.

That's also true. I know that I was let down at the Halo 5 beta and the MCC shit all over my XBO when I got it, so maybe this game won't be so bad with all that free stuff.

I absolutely loved it, apart from CTF flag mechanics. Mantis > all.

All the weapons were way too powerful faster than they ought to. Map control was broken down a bit with clambering. Infinite sprint. AI callouts automatically.
It just felt very fast, and more of a run-and-gun than Halo 4 was. I'd even say it's more similar to CoD now than it was in 4, even with the removal of loadouts.
The weapons are actually useful now. Especially the AR and SMG. The sandbox is getting some tweaking from beta feedback too.
Sprinting has consequences.
AI callouts can be turned off.
It's feels fast because of movement speed combined with abilities. The kill times are nearly as long as Halo 2's, so it certainly isn't run and gun.
Halo 4 is literally the most similar to CoD than Halo 5 is by a longshot.
