What's the point of of the presenters standing on-stage with a controller? Nobody believes they're actually playing it.
I thought they often are? I remember presentations where the controller died, the game froze and stuff like that, which did make it look like they were actually playing.

Doom was a recorded gameplay trailer. There was no-one on stage playing it.
It was still scripted.
Well yeah, but we're talking about people pretending to play. Was there anyone actually holding a controller and pretending for Battlefront or Halo? Because I don't think I saw the girl with a controller for Battlefront either.

Why in the fuck are we still fighting the coventant? Didn't 343i get enough shit for beating the dead horse on halo4?
Its not the same Covenant that was in Halo 1-3, its called the Storm Covenant led by Jul Mdama.
I know it's not the same covenant. It's just the fact that we're still fighting them when we have a new whole set of badguys to fight.

well yea. The whole rouge covies just seemed like a waste of story and just unnecessary even as enemy filler.
despite all that being said, the plot is still looking promising.
You expect every single Sangheili to make peace with Humanity and just disappear? Them being around still makes perfect sense.
No I don't, and yea it does make sense. But it doesn't seem significant enough to be fighting them constantly.
a big radicalistic army that still believes in the great journey is pretty significant

Never been a fan of DOOM, but that campaign looks pretty fucking sweet
For me, this new Doom game was like HL3 for a HL fan or Fallout 4. I was excited and hyped since beating Doom 3. I woke up at 4am just to watch the show, I cried, I was so happy I fucking cried. It was beautiful.

Its for demo purposes, so nothing surprising there for a game scheduled to be released in spring 2016.
