If you can't appreciate a game without modern visuals, it was either a shit game or you have shit taste
A remake =/= only visuals, you know. Let's not forget about performance being improved, or mechanics being improved. Let's also not forget about actual remakes like Ratchet & Clank, which is a complete overhaul of everything from visuals to gameplay and levels being rebuilt for modernization. Take ME1 for example. Fantastic game, yet it ran poorly, played poorly and had bad mechanics. Wanting a remake absolutely doesn't mean you can't appreciate its original version, it was a bad game or you have bad taste.

If Chief and Blue team meet their demises in 6 (won't happen in 5) and we get a new trilogy starring Locke and the randoms then I won't even be mad.
The Chief is going out of gaming fashion and the more you stretch his story the worse it'll get, 5 is building to 6-the apex. From 6 onwards it's inevitable that Blue team will be killed off as will the Master Chief.
Halo 6 is actually going to be a Heavy Rain clone with Master Chief as Ethan Mars and Cortana as the his kid.
Nah, it'll be more of a Mass Effect 3 scenario with the rebels fucking up all the things you fought for across the whole series
