3 was great though. Regarding Reach, I understand why people don't like it, but personally I enjoyed the game quite a lot. Custom games and forge were fantastic.

I get that Reach contradicted events from a book the large majority of the Fanbase didn't read and events did need to be rectoned because of it but seriously, other than that nothing other than that was bad. Definitely not the best but, it was still a fun game to play through.
lol The characters, excluding Jorge (lol they killed off the only character in Reach), were god awful, and there's no plot development until the last few levels. Like, Noble Team were so irrelevant, they had to fragment Cortana and stick that fragment on Reach (along with Installation 04's coordinates being found on Reach too, instead of Sigma Octanus IV) just to make them important. And no, literally nothing about TFoR needed to be retconned. It was perfectly fine (hyperbole) as it was, and would've adapted into a game easily. Reach's story just made everything worse.

The entirety exists because of the small factors that make it up.

Yeah, but Reach is like the boss, because it's better than the other minions, so if you can beat it, you can beat the other ones as well.

It's still good, despite it being their weakest. TWaU and TftB are by far their best ones yet.
Now they just need to overhaul their god awful duct tape and cardboard engine instead of overloading themselves with new projects.

The story and writing of 343's games is substantially better than Bungie's (not counting Staten, who was basically the reason why the games he was involved in were good).
Halo 5's MP is a massive step in the right direction too.

Post-War UNSC + Pre-Schism Covenant would still win.
Ground forces would only just tip in ME's favour because of numbers and because they're outfitted in more than cardboard armour and aren't using outdated firearms (the UNSC, that is, besides the Spartans). The Covenant would stand a much greater chance on the ground because of their superior armour and weaponry.
The Prometheans would be a greater threat to ground forces too, because of superior tech, but the numbers of ME would become overwhelming at a point.
Air/Space combat? UNSC/Covenant would easily take that. Reapers are laughably weak, and the ships of the other races in ME are even worse than the Reapers are. The Halo Universe is significantly more advanced than Mass Effect is when it comes to ships and ship combat.
And ground forces mean jack shit when the Covenant can just bombard planets with plasma and turn them into smoldering wastelands.
Let's not forget about MAC bombardment by all UNSC ships, which would rip through everything (a standard MAC has a destructive output of about 64 kilotons of TNT). The MAC cannons on an orbital defense platform alone output up to 51 gigatons or force. The 4 MAC cannons on the Infinity can punch craters that are several miles wide and can knock in-atmosphere ships out of the air.
The 64 number belongs to a frigate. Which means that anything larger than that is much stronger. And plasma torps are megaton ranging weapons at most on a low end scale. 100,000 km range energy projectors probably significantly more powerful.
Frigates are outfitted with a standard MKII Mass Accelerator Cannon.

The world building was better than Origins.
The characters were decent. The companion banter was pretty good.

Origins is still the best DA game.
Origins was the best, but those dragon fights doe, epic battles to the end.
They weren't that good. I just had Blackwall stand under them attacking them because he's OP.
