I think getting rid of sword block was a stupid decision. Someone with sprint and a sword got an easy 10 kills without it.
lmao shut up the sword is a power weapon. like all power weapons it has a disadvantage - that disadvantage being that it's a cqc weapon and requires you to get up close. swordblock was a bullshit mechanic that should have been kept to infection at most. it allowed idiots to cheaply survive what should have been a kill to the attacker. if you're dumb enough to get close to a sword user then that's your own fault.

I honestly feel like this was a genius deal, as much as I hate timed exclusivity. Now it won't be competing with the uncharted collection this winter and uncharted 4 in March
The more likely reason is that MS threw money at Square so they had something to combat UC4 (before it was delayed).
no I meant it was a smart deal for square to take. They get to have the bags full of money from Microsoft, and then probably sell even more copy's of tomb raider than they would have if it came out alongside uncharted
