i believe it because it's absolutely true thousands of people pirate every single day. the government/authorities aren't going to round up every single individual and charge them for a criminal offence. it just isn't feasible or something that's really that important or worth putting effort into when there's hundreds of actual crimes being commited every single day. your internet provider knows what you do online and can report you, but they don't because nobody actually really cares if you pirate something and because your provider would be losing out. the government knows what you get up to online too. if they actually gave a toss, then they'd do something about it, but they don't care because of the reasons i've already listed. tl;dr you won't get in trouble for piracy

Some laws are more enforced than others, and I've rarely scene anti-piracy enforced. The only time I see anti-piracy is on DvDs where it tells you what would happen if you did it.
I'm just not one for this whole "it's not illegal if you can get away with it" philosophy.

We don't have the population for groups to work right without them killing the forums. Bnet has the population for groups to be active along with the forums as well. The only thing they would do is split up the population on a site that has hardly anybody to begin with. The other thing is that groups are going to be pointless until we get a population due to there being a decent amount of groups with hardly anybody posting in them. One group may have most of the population posting in it and for the others they are just there taking up space.
I feel like I've regurgitated the answer to this concern like 10 times. I'm not about to risk the forum for groups.
so what is your big solution to prevent groups killing the mains?

I know that, but it seems like usually it's other people who are trying to offend me. So I usually find myself on the receiving end when I am posting on facebook. I will see a post that someone makes and I will call it out, then sometimes a swarm of people will come and reply to me about how I am a moron. What I want to do is be tactical, make sure that instead of them throwing in all the bait at me, I get a ton of people raving at me for how much they hate my guts. That is the ultimate goal.
