I play CE with the D-pad
That's weird.
I can't stand how bulky the Xbox controller is, by the way.
Do you have the Duke controller or the slim controller?

We don't even know the extent that their genes were altered. Like, near sightedness is dominant, but I doubt that Solid was altered to have bad vision because it'd be counterproductive to the Les Enfants Terribles program.
I think in the context of the Metal Gear universe, traits aren't relegated to dominant or recessive
like, for example, blue eyes are necessarily recessive in the MGS universe like they are in real life
it just so happens that Big Boss's blue eyes were recessive
but my blue eye genes could be dominant
yknow what im saying?
basically, everyone has two potential gene pools. your sprinting speed could be 15km/h as your dominant gene or 20km/h as your recessive
it's the only way it makes sense, realistically in the MGS universe
Blue eyes aren't dominant (irl) I dunno. It could just be dominant and recessive physical attributes that Solid and Liquid have, respectively, but Liquid being told he's inferior, and that recessive genes are inferior, his entire life led him to believe it, and resulted in him hating his existence and hating Solid.

Plasma weapon + pistol shot to the head I haven't seen any pistols in a long time. I guess they just weren't available in those levels.
I meant when you have one. Sorry. Also run things over when possible to take advantage of CE's terrible acceleration physics.

shields For some reason, it never occurred to me that the elites would have the same shield/health mechanic as I do.
Good to know about those weapons, though. I guess the general strategy is to just start with plasma weapons, and finish with... lead weapons, then.

>america >ever
If it wasn't for America you wouldn't be on the Internet, have a computer, and this site wouldn't exist.
England is literally the most overly nationalistic hellhole on the planet, because you guys contribute next to nothing to humanity.
Oh wait, almost forgot, you had an empire where you killed lots of brown people and drank tea. Jolly good old chap.
is this a ruse?

Stuff like brown (dominant) eyes vs. blue eyes (recessive), or dimples when you smile (dominant) vs. no dimples when you smile (recessive) doesn't make someone inferior or superior.

Vice versa

Super secret 4 child of the Les Enfants Terribles. A chick (don't ask how, not important) with the perfect balance of BB's genes.
She has a machine gun leg. Yes, she's voiced by Rose McGowan.
wtf are you going to start mgs2
I have.
what part are you at
The last thing I did was head to strut D to disable bomb 4.

Some of the best stuff is post-Halo 3 and post-Bungie, though.
I doubt it gets any better than Halo 3's terminals.
You mean Halo 3's vague terminals that barely made up for the game's lack of story? Yeah, it's better. Writing was never Bungie's strong point. That's why the books released during their time with Halo were good.

I haven't kept up with the lore for a good reason tho
Why?
IMO, it hasn't really been interesting since Halo 3.
The Forerunner saga ruined a lot of the intrigue for me.

...w..what..?
"I only play single player cuz le story I am lore master"
Its CSGO.
What's wrong with that?
Nothing, but it does annoy me. Playing video games and enjoying the story is cool, but getting into lore books and shit? Give me a break. Its like going to a steak house to get chicken. The chicken might not even be bad, but why not order the steak when that is the reason you went there?
translation "lol stop enjoying stuff"
Moron. It's no different than reading comic books after watching Superhero shows, movies or playing the games, or reading Harry Potter after watching the movies. If you enjoy something, then there's nothing wrong with getting the additional stuff.
It is different because superhero movies and Harry Potter movies are made for story. Video games, save for a couple titles, are not. Any books you see for video games are literally just made to make $$$ off the name. Honestly, I do not give a shit about what people do for entertainment but for me, it feels completely out of place to read books for video games, because that's not what (most) games are made for.
Well yeah, reading books that are a part of Evolve or CSGO is dumb because they're literally just multiplayer with no story. Halo has campaigns for its story, and multiplayer. The books expand on that story.
Any books you see for video games are literally just made to make $$$ Literally every form of entertainment ever then?
You really don't have a strong argument here.
There really isn't a point in arguing. I just think its pointless to become invested in video game lore when a) most games aren't made for story and b) there is rarely actual pay off in the games for reading the books and if there is then the game is stupid for expecting players to read a book to understand the story.
lol okay, guy. A) Halo isn't most games B) There is payoff, and the books aren't needed to play. It's supplementary material.

Just like Halo 4!
It's more akin to Halo 3, like I said.
Seriously it's an awful game.
He means the nanomachines (son) part. Halo 4 uses them as explanations for some things.

nanotechnology is the explanation for why John's armour magically changed between games. I think people were using as an explanation for the Forward unto Dawn at some point as well.

They can upgrade his armor, but they still can't fix those scratches he's had since Halo 3. #logic
That scarring on his breastplate can possibly be because he crashed into Requiem, unshielded. You don't see his armour from the neck down from the front until after you crash. Using co-op to view it doesn't count because co-op isn't canon, and wasting resources on two Chief models is pointless. That or the scarring is there because of artistic design.

Nah. FuD was a straight up artistic retcon.
For the better too. The original Charon-class design is literal ass.
Actually, I think the canon design is the Halo 3 era one. It's just that they wanted to make a more intersting level for Halo 4. Canonically, though, it's the Halo 3 design.
It was because the FuD's design would be utter garbage for gameplay. I still like the modified Strident-class used for the FuD in Halo 4 though.
